Collect Season Cards - Horeki

Walk to unlock the 72 Seasons

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Horeki is a walking app built around Japan's ancient 72 micro-seasons (shichijuni-ko), in which every day of walking brings you new season-word cards. ◆ What are the 72 micro-seasons? They divide each of the 24 solar terms into three again, marking the year in steps of roughly five days. “East wind melts the ice,” “First cherry blossoms open” — this is Japan's traditional calendar, describing the drift of nature in beautiful words. ◆ Walk to collect season cards Every day you walk is a chance to earn a card. A card drop is rolled every 2,000 steps, and cards tied to the current micro-season are more likely to appear. There are four rarity tiers: Normal, Rare, Super Rare and Ultra Rare. Complete the full set of 72. ◆ Main features - Automatic step counting through HealthKit - Season-word cards based on the 72 micro-seasons - A card field guide showing the four seasons at a glance - Every card carries its season word, a haiku, and the plants and animals it belongs to - A daily walking dashboard - A daily step goal - Notifications when the micro-season turns ◆ Walk the season, collect the calendar Horeki ties walking together with Japan's culture of the seasons for a new kind of walking experience. Your everyday walk becomes a discovery of the year. * Uses step data from HealthKit.

Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

Now fully supports iPad: your steps, the card collection and card details are laid out for the larger screen. We also reworked ads. The collection now shows ads styled to fit in with the cards, and a full-screen ad may appear after you earn a card (up to 3 a day). A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase turns these ads off for good.
