The main addition in this update is the new Voice Translator, available on iOS 18 or later. • Translate short phrases from Russian, English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, or Turkish into Simplified Chinese—and back. • Get recognized text and an automatic translation, edit the transcript, copy the result, listen to the Chinese result, and see its pinyin. • If you wish, explore Chinese text word by word and add new words to your library. We also improved working with images: • Uploaded photos and screenshots now open in the same visual mode as a frozen camera frame: translations stay over the image, and each block can be opened separately. • Long translations wrap more neatly within recognized areas and remain easier to read. We optimized the dictionary, library, and learning progress behind the scenes, made pronunciation practice feedback clearer, and fixed rare camera and speech recognition freezes.

Chinese No Pain can now turn the Chinese around you into study material. • Translation directly in the camera view Point your camera at a menu, sign, package, or any other Chinese text. Translations appear directly over the image. You can freeze the frame, explore individual words, and save the recognized text. • Spoken Chinese to text Record a short piece of spoken Chinese, such as a conversation or a line from a video. The app will create a transcript, show a translation, and highlight words you can open or add to your library. • Daily Discovery A new short article about the Chinese language or culture now appears on the Home screen every day. Chinese words inside each article can be opened as word cards. • Improved guidance We have improved the first-time experience and guidance on the main screens, making important features easier to discover.

The main update for starting from zero: the new “Beginner Path” is here — 13 sections and 105 short lessons with practice after each lesson.
