See release priority and build health from GitHub Actions or Cloudflare, get build notifications, then inspect changes, plan the next tag, and finish Launch tasks.
I built SinceTag for my own hobby projects.
A few of them were moving at once. Some had changes since the last tag, some were nearly ready, and some still had loose ends. Before shipping anything, I had to work out which project needed a release next, and what was left before I could tag it.
SinceTag keeps that view in one place on my Mac.
Add your local git repositories and the dashboard shows which projects have changes since the last tag, how much work has built up, and how long it has been sitting there. Repos with the most movement rise to the top. Released repos with open launch tasks stay above the fully finished ones, so those tasks do not slip. Projects that have never been tagged count their changes from the first commit, so new work shows up from day one.
Put the dashboard in the order you need
Release priority is the default. The menu beside the repository filter box sorts by time since tag, open Launch tasks, open Next items, or name instead, and the arrow reverses any order. Both choices are remembered. You can also filter by name, or show only pending or released repos.
Group related repos
Give each repo one icon category, such as iOS App, Mac App, or Client Work. Every category tag shows its repo count, and an Uncategorized tag appears when a repo has none. Select one tag or several to see just those projects.
See whether the build is green
Open Repo Settings and follow one GitHub Actions workflow, Cloudflare Worker, or Cloudflare Pages project. A passing build gives the card a restrained green glass tint and a failure turns it red, with a symbol and label on every result. Cloudflare connects with your account ID and a read-only API token, kept in the Mac Keychain. Choose notifications per repo: failed builds, all completed builds, or none. Clicking a notification opens the build.
Keep steady projects quiet
Some projects deploy on every commit, so there is never any unreleased work to track. Turn off Track unreleased work in that repo's settings and SinceTag sorts it with your finished projects.
Open any repo
See the commits between the latest tag and HEAD, with lines changed and files touched. Older tags and an "Initial commit" section hold the work that came before the first release.
Plan the next release
Each repo has a Next list for the ideas, fixes, and release tasks that still need doing before the next tag. Filter it by text, and drag the visible handles to put active items in priority order. Completed items stay grouped by version, so I can see what each release contained and share a clean summary.
Handle the launch follow-up
The Launch tab covers the work that happens after a release. I use it for App Store text, screenshot updates, and a short release note. It holds one-time jobs and per-release tasks, both filterable and reorderable, and the dashboard shows how many are left per repo.
When you are ready to ship
Create a new tag from the app and push it to GitHub without leaving the repo view. SinceTag also refreshes on its own when local git data changes.
Made for local work
Local tracking needs no account, and your repository content stays on your Mac. Sign in to GitHub only when a private workflow or a tag push needs it, and connect Cloudflare only when you follow a build there.
- See unreleased work across several local repos at once
- Sort by release priority, time since tag, open Launch tasks, open Next items, or name
- Group repos into icon categories and filter on several at once
- Follow one GitHub Actions, Cloudflare Workers, or Cloudflare Pages build per repo, with notifications for failed or all completed builds
- Mark a repo as always clean when it deploys on every commit
- Review commits since the latest tag, earlier tags, and the work before the first release
- Keep a Next list per repo, filter it, reorder it, and see completed work by version
- Share changelog, roadmap, or launch task text
- Create a new tag and push it to GitHub
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Follow a Cloudflare Worker or Pages project in Repo Settings, alongside the existing GitHub Actions support. Its latest build appears on the card, with an optional green or red glass tint, per-repo notifications for failed or all completed builds, and a link to Cloudflare.
- Filter the Next and Launch lists inside each repo. Next searches active and completed items, while Launch searches one-time and per-release tasks.
- A new dashboard sort menu orders repos by release priority, time since tag, open Launch tasks, open Next items, or name. Use the arrow beside it to reverse any order.
- Category tags now show their repo counts, and an Uncategorized tag appears when a repo has no category.
- The dashboard now lays out repo cards in a responsive grid, so a wide window shows several columns at once and a narrow one drops to a single column.
- Each repo now has its own settings, opened from the repo toolbar or a card's right-click menu.
- Turn off Track unreleased work for a project that deploys on every commit, and SinceTag keeps it with your released repos instead of flagging pending work.
- Large repositories open and scroll faster, and a refresh no longer stalls while working out the commits in repos with a long history.
