Muscle memory opens the app before you decide to. Resist puts a challenge in between, so the choice is yours again. Pay once, no subscription. You don't need another app that lectures you. You need one that makes opening the app slightly annoying. Resist puts a challenge between you and whatever you lose hours to. Tap a blocked app, get a riddle. Answer it and you're in — for five minutes, or fifteen, or an hour. Your choice. Then it locks itself again. The pause is the point. Most scrolling isn't a decision, it's a reflex. A question you have to actually think about breaks the reflex. PAY ONCE, NOT EVERY MONTH Most blockers charge a subscription to help you use your phone less. Resist is a one-time purchase. Buy it, own it, done. SEVEN KINDS OF CHALLENGE Trivia, mental maths, number sequences, word unscrambles, pattern memory, riddles, and a guided breathing exercise. Get one wrong three times and Resist switches to a different type, so you can't grind the same answer until it gives up. HARD MODE Two challenges instead of one. Where a challenge type has difficulty levels, hard mode uses the hardest. For the apps you genuinely can't leave alone. YOU CHOOSE WHAT'S BLOCKED Pick any apps on your phone through Apple's Screen Time controls. Resist never learns which ones you picked — iOS keeps that private, even from us. ONE-TAP REOPEN Label your blocked apps once, and after a challenge Resist takes you straight back to the one you unlocked, with its name on your Lock Screen. A COUNTDOWN YOU CAN SEE A live countdown on your Lock Screen shows how long you have before the app locks again. LOCK IT BACK EARLY Changed your mind halfway through? One button re-locks everything immediately. WATCH IT ADD UP A daily block count, a running streak, a focus score, and a weekly chart built only from days you actually used it. Resist is built on Apple's Screen Time API. The blocking is enforced by iOS itself, not by us.

Hard mode: two challenges instead of one, at the hardest setting. Turn it on in Settings. Fixed: apps now re-lock on schedule after using "Lock my apps again." Fixed: getting a challenge wrong three times now switches you to a different type instead of getting stuck.
