47 cities, told out loud. Start walking and each story plays where it belongs — no searching, no tapping. Download once and it keeps working with data off.
WHAT THIS APP IS
Tellby is an AI audio travel guide. It plays narrated guides for places in 47
cities, triggered by GPS as you walk, or on demand.
SUBSCRIPTION PURCHASE ERROR (answering Guideline 2.1(b), Sept 9 review)
Thank you for the detailed report. We found the cause and it was on our side,
outside the binary.
Our Paid Applications Agreement had lapsed on August 18, 2026. Without it,
StoreKit returns no products and every purchase fails before reaching our
servers - our payment logs show zero purchase attempts on the review date,
which matches exactly. The Account Holder signed the current agreement on
September 9, 2026; it is now Active for all countries and regions, and our
bank account and tax forms were already active.
Build 80 also fixes a related defect: when StoreKit returned no products, the
purchase screen fell back to server prices and still showed an enabled button,
which produced the generic error you saw when tapped. In build 80 a plan
StoreKit does not return is shown as unavailable and cannot be tapped, and the
failure is reported to our monitoring instead of being swallowed.

Tellby Yearly com.humblekim.cased.sub.yearly (group: Tellby Premium)
IN-APP PURCHASES - PRICING (answering Guideline 3.0.0 Business)
We confirm that "Tellby Lifetime" at $219.99 USD is the intended price. It
is not a typo or a decimal error. The full price list:
Travel Pass (13 days) $12.99 com.humblekim.cased.pass13d
Monthly $9.99 com.humblekim.cased.sub.monthly
Yearly $69.99 com.humblekim.cased.sub.yearly
Lifetime $219.99 com.humblekim.cased.lifetime
$219.99 is roughly 22 months of the monthly plan, priced as a long-horizon
alternative to the subscriptions rather than a cheap one-off. Generation costs
real compute (text-to-speech billed per character), so each tier includes a
capped allowance of generated guides - 3 / 6 per month / 40 per year / 100 -
shown on the purchase screen before purchase. A free plan is available, so the
app can be reviewed without any purchase.
WHAT THE FREE PLAN INCLUDES
For the 454 curated landmark places across 47 cities, the first audio section
is already generated in English. Playing it triggers generation of the next at
our cost - no purchase required and no user allowance consumed. The paid
allowances apply to guides the user generates for their own curations.
TESTING THE CORE FEATURE
Location-triggered playback needs GPS. Indoors, open any place and press play
- the same audio plays on demand. Verified places with audio ready:
Paris - Louvre Museum, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe
Seoul - Myeong-dong, Gyeongbokgung Palace
Japan - Tokyo Imperial Palace, Shuri Castle
Thailand - Wat Arun, Khaosan Road
SIGNING IN
No demo account needed. Tap "Sign in with Apple" on the launch screen - an
account is created automatically. "Continue as guest" also works. There is no
email/password login in this build.
TESTING PURCHASES
Receipt validation tries production first and falls back to sandbox
automatically, so sandbox purchases during review validate correctly. We can
provide a promo code for the Lifetime product on request.
PERMISSIONS (5.1.1, resolved in build 79)
Purpose strings name the feature and the moment access is asked for. Photo
library, camera and microphone are requested only in response to a tap, never
on screen load. The app can be browsed without an account.
BACKGROUND LOCATION
Background location starts a guide automatically when the user walks near a
place. It is opt-in, explained before any system prompt, and toggleable in the
app's Settings. The app is fully usable with the permission denied.
AI-GENERATED CONTENT
Guide text is AI-generated and labeled as such in the app (EU AI Act). Audio is
synthesized speech, not a recording of a real person.
