STROBE VISUALIZATION
StrobeTuner brings you classic strobe visualization in a simple tuner app. Concentric rings spin when you're sharp or flat and freeze when you're perfectly in tune, giving you real-time visual feedback that's more precise and intuitive. Play a note and see it lock in immediately. Ultra-low latency pitch detection means there's no waiting and no lag.

Tune from your wrist or from your pocket. Same precision on all devices. The Apple Watch app works independently, no iPhone required. Perfect for quick checks in the practice room.
WORKS WITH ANY INSTRUMENT
Guitar, uke, bass, piano, violin, mandolin, sax, trumpet, brass, clarinet, flute, woodwinds — if it has a pitch, StrobeTuner hears it.
ADJUSTABLE REFERENCE PITCH + PRESETS
Default is A4 = 440 Hz. Adjust to whatever your ensemble requires. Handy presets like 432 Hz and 442 Hz available at the tap of a button.
CLEAN & MINIMAL
No clutter, no ads, no accounts, no data collection. Audio is processed entirely on-device. Just open it and tune.
PERSONALIZE YOUR STYLE
Change the strobe ring color to suit your style, and choose whether notes display as sharps or flats. Adjust strobe speed and direction.
ADVANCED SETTINGS
Flip one switch for finer control. Dial in mic sensitivity separately for iPhone and Apple Watch to suit loud stages or quiet rooms. Set your own strobe speed. Unlock four multi-color ring palettes: Rainbow, Neon, Aurora, and Grayscale. It's off by default, so the app can stay minimal.

New in 1.2: Advanced Settings. Turn it on to add four new ring palettes, adjustable strobe speed, and separate adjustable microphone sensitivity for iPhone and Apple Watch.
You can now drag the Settings sheet halfway down the screen and watch the strobe rings respond as you adjust them.
