The fridge is here: a shared board for the two of you. Stick notes, doodles, photos and short videos on it right from Home. Your partner sees each one in an instant, and Fenn can show you what's up there or tidy it. Also new: shared battery levels now show on Home, on the map and in your chat, and tapping a trip Live Activity opens the map.

Live Activity trip maps now frame journeys more closely, with improved pin and place-label placement and tighter spacing around the Fenn badge. Home Screen widget labels also fit changing durations more reliably. San Francisco's Lombard Street is now in 3D on the map, with its brick switchbacks, cars and the Hyde Street cable car, and every 3D world glows at night in dark mode. Places got richer: open a place's visits, nights, photos and the messages you sent there, right from its panel. Plus redesigned Home Screen widgets: a map widget, a chat widget and a medium map-and-chat widget.

Dark mode is here: Fenn now follows your iPhone's appearance, from your chats to the map. Plus a fresh new look: new avatars across the app, the widget and the Live Activity, and new map pins for people, places, events and photos. When your partner is off screen, their pin points the way. Fenn now speaks 15 languages, and the map can show Paris and San Francisco's Dolores Park in 3D, with cars, Muni trains and real hills.

Photos, videos and messages now keep sending when you leave Fenn, share from another app, or have a weak connection, and pick up where they stopped. Calendar links and addresses are tappable, shared photos keep their location and open on the map, and a green dot shows when your partner is in the app.

See when your partner is here: their name now shows “In app” while they have Fenn open, and “Typing” while they write to you. Otherwise it shows their local time, as before.

Live Activities now start more reliably in the background, follow dark mode, and show sharper maps with clearer colors. Older locations now show how many minutes ago they were updated. New couples also get a quick introduction to shared trips, places, photos, and plans on the map.

See your partner’s shared calendars and manage which calendars you share. Tasks update more smoothly when you edit or complete them. Chats have more consistent spacing and clearer quoted replies, and Home previews make better use of the space below the map. This update also improves location descriptions and Live Activity maps, fixes calendar events conflicting with their own saved copies, and improves stability when the date changes.

See typing and your partner’s local time beside their name in chats and on Home. Conversation previews now show whole bubbles below the map, with Open Chat floating above the messages. This update also improves chat transitions and fixes a crash when opening a conversation.
