Dedans is a live scoring app built specifically for real tennis — by people who understand the game.
Every other scoring app treats real tennis like lawn tennis with extras. Dedans is built from the ground up for courte-paume: chases, hazards, galleries, the dedans, change of ends — all handled correctly without you having to think about it.
LIVE SCORING
A clean, dark interface designed to be used courtside. Point buttons highlight green for the server. The score updates instantly and speaks the game — "15 – owe 15", "Sudden Death", "Advantage" — exactly as a marker would call it.
FULL CHASE SYSTEM
Select chase positions from a complete grid covering every line on the court: yard marks, Better than 1, the galleries, the door, the grille, Last Gallery, Second Gallery, and the line. Hazard chases handled separately. The app tracks active chases, knows when ends change, and plays them off automatically.
OFFICIAL T&RA HANDICAPS
The full official handicap table — not an approximation. Every difference from 1 to 50+ is handled with the correct receive and owe components, including ½ and ¼ alternating values per game. Sudden death at 40-40 is enforced automatically in handicap play per T&RA rules. Bisque support for differences of 1 and 2. Physical restriction warnings shown for larger differences.
WHO SERVES FIRST
Set the opening server before the match starts. The green serving indicator follows the ball correctly throughout, including after change of ends.
CHANGE OF ENDS
A clear popup appears at every change of ends showing the current set scores, any active chases to be played off, and who serves next. Tap to continue.
FLEXIBLE STARTING ADVANTAGE
Set starting points independently for each player — receiver and ower separately. ¼.15, ½.15, 15, ½.30, 30, ½.40, 40 all supported. The app suggests the correct handicap values automatically and highlights them in green so you can nudge slightly if needed.
GUEST PLAYERS
Scoring a match with someone who doesn't have the app? Add them as a guest by name and handicap — they appear correctly throughout.
APPLE WATCH
Score from your wrist. The Watch companion shows the live score, active chases, and who's serving, updated from your iPhone in real time.
