I found Chonk on the App Store and decided to give it a try. It took about 10 mins to scan through all of my photos and videos and it was able to find thousands of duplicates that I could review and clean up. I was also able to compress my files and instantly save 23 GB. Definitely worth checking out!

I downloaded this thinking I’d clean “a few photos”… turns out I had thousands of similar photos of my cats😭I’m really surprised on how good the duplicate and similar detection is. I’ve been running out of space on my phone and this helped clear a lot for me. The Live Photo to JPEG option is so good!
- Sort cleanup photos from newest to lowest
- Add ability to favorite a photo so you can favorite your old photos!
- Fix issue when panning a zoomed photo triggers swipe actions
