Excellent MS Word Replacement
Dr-Greg
As soon as I saw this I knew I wanted to try it as a MS Word replacement on Mac and yup, it’s pretty good. At the time of me writing this there are just a few annoying things about using the app such as it not remembering my window size and position in between closing and re-opening the app, plus a few other minor things, but once those are all resolved this should be an excellent option for anyone who wants MS Word familiarity on MacOS but without the bloat.
Developer Response
Thank you so much. For the kind words and for the feedback - which helped remove the issues.
OK,But…

A good word processor does not need to be complicated, but it does need a good user interface. If I have to look at the user guide to adjust the margin, the deal is off.
New features:
Customizable format bar: reorder and toggle toolbar groups via View > Customize Format Bar. Preferences persist across sessions.
Mermaid diagram rendering in Markdown documents.
No-paper mode now supports character-column width presets (matching standard terminal widths).
Pinch-to-zoom on trackpad.
Style redefinition: right-click a style to update it to match the current selection.
Document outline sidebar (View > Document Outline).
Threaded comment replies and Prev/Next comment navigation.
Track Changes now tracks bold and font formatting changes, with a Show/Hide toggle.
DOCX round-trip preserves original stylesheet and custom styles.
Bug fixes:
Fixed "Page colour" label clipping in the inspector panel.
Fixed selection behaving incorrectly when spanning Markdown markers.
Fixed font popup not restoring the current selection after closing.
Fixed margin and content persistence issues on DOCX save/reopen.
Markdown writer now correctly recognises NSTextList-based lists.
