Play online with friends, or create and join public games! Newly optimized for iPhone Duo and in landscape on iPhone. Hex Armada is a multiplayer naval combat game where you hunt down your opponents, and every shot affects all players, including yourself. Everyone places 4 ships on the sea and hides a headquarters on one of the randomized islands. Then players take turns firing: one shot for every ship you have left. A shot on a sea hex costs one shot, but a shot on land costs two. Every hit tells you something, so use it to narrow down where your enemies are hiding. Just hope your own ships aren't sitting in the same spot! Play with friends on the same device, over your local network, or asynchronously online through Game Center. Features: • Exciting gameplay where every shot hits every player • Strategic hex-grid combat • Local pass-and-play multiplayer, up to 12 players • Local network multiplayer, up to 8 players • Online asynchronous multiplayer, up to 12 players • Headquarters and land defenses add fun tactical objectives How to Win: Destroy enemy fleets and opposing headquarters before they destroy you. The last player standing wins!

battling with ships

Very fun game that is definitely reminiscent of the physical inspiration version…but the hexagon layout means you can put ships in diagonal positions which is cool. Also, I wish more developers would bring back the old school approach (like this guy) where you just pay a single time rather than endless subscription fees. Oh and side benefit, my iPhone is quite old (12 mini) and this game does not overtax it or get burning hot!

Super fun, especially with a competitive group. It’s nice to be able to take your turn when you have time. And no ads is a huge plus!! Highly recommended.
