In Boardsesh every board you connect to has a live feed of what's lit on that wall right now: the climb's name, who lit it, who set it, the grade and angle, and recent sends. It updates as the wall changes, so you always know what's up there.
SESSIONS WITH YOUR CREW
Start a session and you and your crew can share one queue everyone can drive. Anyone can light the next climb on the wall. When you're done you get a recap and tracking: sends and attempts, grade spread, your hardest send, and progress over time.
CONTROL FROM YOUR LOCK SCREEN (iOS 17+)
iOS Live Activities tell you what climb is on from your lock screen, and allow you to change it without leaving your lock screen.
BUILD A WORKOUT
Pick Volume, Pyramid, Ladder or Grade Focus, set a target grade and warm-up, preview the climbs, then push them to the wall one at a time.

Great app that you can use with Kilter, Tension, Moon and I believe other boards. No more need for multiple apps, plus the new kilter app is horrible so kudos to this team!!!

This app is pretty good compared to the old kilter app, and definitely Some complaints would be the disconnect button not working, not having a built in auto disconnect service, and the strangeness of the session feature with others. It doesn’t seem to work very well, and you can’t search for new climbs without automatically putting them up on the wall. If these things got fixed it would probably be a five star app.

We agree the old 1.2 app had some weird quirks due to it being a web app in a app jacket. We completely rewrote the app to be native, and use liquid glass ui for the app. Lets us know if things have improved for you

I downloaded this because I don’t need my ticks published or anything. I like that I can use the board at all, but dislike that it refuses to log data locally.
The full MoonBoard catalog is in, hold colours are yours to tune, and boards light up more reliably on iPhone.
New:
- The full MoonBoard catalog landed: thousands more problems with real grades, star ratings and send counts, plus the Mini 2025 and original 2010 boards. Original MoonBoard LED hardware lights up over Bluetooth too.
- See who's on the wall at a glance: when a crewmate lights up a different climb, their face and that climb show in a capsule up top, while the bottom bar stays your own queue.
- Tap any climb in a circuit or playlist and the whole list drops into your queue in order. Swipe back to revisit the boulders above, not just jump to the next.
- Mix your own hold colours with a real colour picker, preview them through red-green and blue-yellow colour blindness, and pick a new octagon marker shape. MoonBoard hold circles are bigger and easier to read, too.
- Sort your logbook by Hardest top to bottom, with the community consensus grade shown next to the one you logged.
Fixed:
- Kilter and Tension light up reliably on iPhone: climbs send to the wall instead of the board connecting but staying dark.
- MoonBoard lights up on iPhone, recovers after a flaky Bluetooth moment, and now drives from the Dynamic Island.
- Fixed an iOS freeze where the app could stop responding to taps after opening and closing sheets.
- Filter by setter, hold type or board region again. The pickers open full screen and the whole sheet scrolls.
- Live sessions reconnect after your login refreshes, and pause then refetch when you drop offline and come back.
