Your own images on the icons. Team, player and coach icons can now show a picture you choose. Tap an icon with a camera mark, pick an image, and it appears wherever that team or person is shown. Everything stays on your device. Settings > Custom images lists what you have added, so you can look through it, remove one, or turn the whole thing off whenever you like.

Notifications, match by match. Tap the bell on a match to turn its notifications on or off — whether or not you follow the clubs. Quiet a match while you watch it live, or hear about one you would otherwise miss. Your club follows still set the default for everything else. From Settings, one switch turns every notification off. Matches you have belled still come through. See how everyone else is leaning. Pick an outcome on a match card and the fan vote shows how supporters are split. You can change your pick until kick-off. The prediction model behind Analysis has been rebuilt and re-tested on 7,000 past matches, so the percentages sit closer to how often things really happen. The match timeline now carries VAR decisions, so when a goal is disallowed you can see why the score changed. Player comparison now covers J2 and J3, so you can line up players from any of the three divisions. Finding an opponent is easier as well: filter the list by club or search by name, and every card carries that player's stats, so you can decide without opening each profile. The traits radar is easier to read at a glance, and club names in the live standings use their short form, so the rows stay readable on smaller screens.

- The Clubs tab now lists every club, with its league position, recent form, and the next match with kick-off time in your local time. - Open a club to see the squad with this season's numbers: average rating, goals, assists, minutes, and cards. - Player comparison now overlays two traits radars, so you can read two playing styles side by side. You can jump straight there from the radar on a player page. - Traits radars appear earlier in the season. While a player has only a few matches, the radar is marked provisional. - Player names in player comparison now match how they appear everywhere else in the app.

- Home now has Analysis. Turn it on and every match card in the round shows JPick's read: the likely outcome, the probability split, and the most likely score. - Tap the prediction on a card to open JPick Prediction for that match, or the top of the card for match details. - Everyone can open one match per round for free, and every finished match stays open to all. - The 2026 World Cup entry now lives in Settings. - On the match page, JPick Prediction puts the outcome, the probability split, and the most likely score on their own labelled rows.

- Standings now include a live view: matches in progress are counted at their current score, so you can see the table as it stands. - The live table shows how far each club has moved from the official table. - Standings now show goals for and against, and the position and club name stay in view as you scroll sideways. - Column headers stay in view while you scroll the standings. - Match details show the venue for upcoming matches as well. - Player profiles show the squad number. - A player's match stats now show that player's name. - A refreshed Pro page that makes the plans easier to compare.

- After a match ends, the score probability matrix in JPick Analysis marks the scoreline that actually happened, right next to the predicted one, so you can compare the prediction with the result. - The matrix has a larger grid, a clearer shading scale and more legible figures. - Improved how you move from a match to a player's details, so the player you are interested in is always one tap away. - Refined how player information is matched, sharpening the accuracy of lineup and bench displays. - General improvements and clean-up under the hood.

- Player comparison now uses the same set of metrics across outfield positions, so two players in the same role can still be told apart by what they actually do on the pitch. - Goalkeepers gain save rate, goals conceded and shots faced. - Player comparison also shows age, height and preferred foot, with a dash where the data is not available. - The Pro screen has been rewritten to spell out exactly what it unlocks, feature by feature, and now opens full screen when you go to it directly. - The annual plan now also shows what it works out to per month. - The free trial is offered when it is available to you, and the savings on the annual plan are highlighted when it is not. - The launch screen now eases the logo and background in as the app opens. - The subscription screen behaves more reliably when pricing cannot be loaded, and some labels are easier to read.

- Match tabs now look tappable and stay pinned to the top as you scroll, so you always know which view you are in. - JPick Analysis adds Discipline: how freely the referee tends to show cards, with both sides' fouls and yellows set against the league average. - The match outlook now includes each team's chance of scoring two or more, and of keeping a clean sheet. - Head-to-head is easier to read. The overview keeps the summary and the most recent meetings, and links through to the conditional filters in Matchup. - After an update, a short note now tells you what is new, once. - While a match is live, the match page now shows the clock, so you can see how far into the game you are at a glance.

- A team's playing style now lives in one place. The Style tab holds the full picture, so you no longer have to compare two different views of the same thing. - The Style tab adds a sixth axis, Offside trap, showing how high and how actively a side defends. It appears once a team has enough matches for the reading to be meaningful. - Duel dominance and holding a lead have moved onto the Style tab, alongside the rest of a team's traits. - Team figures now answer three clear questions: the last five matches this season, this season as a whole, and playing style over a longer run. Every label says exactly how many matches it covers. - League positions are now compared only with clubs in the same division this season, so a position always means what it says. - On the analysis pitch, preferred foot and match ratings now appear for every player, and a rating always states which match it comes from. Tapping a player opens their profile. - Lighter text throughout the app has been brightened so it is comfortable to read in both light and dark appearance.

- The manager tab now shows how a manager actually runs a match. When they make their first change, when their substitutions cluster, how much they rotate the starting eleven, and how many of the team's goals come from the bench. - Every figure is compared with the league average for the same season and division, so a number reads as early or late, more or fewer, rather than sitting on its own. - Comeback record, response after a defeat and holding a half-time lead are now measured across a manager's whole spell at the club, up to the last 30 matches. Previously these were limited to the season being viewed, which left most of them blank early in a season. - Formation usage is now counted over the same spell, so the match count in the footer matches every figure above it. - For a manager who has only recently taken charge, the tab now says how many matches they have had and when the figures will appear, instead of showing an empty space.

- Goalkeeper stats now go beyond saves. Save %, goals conceded and goals conceded per 90 are all available, so a keeper behind a busy defence is measured on quality rather than on how much work came their way. - Rate rankings now show the sample behind each figure, such as 83.3 (30/36), and the qualifying requirement is stated at the top of the list. - The match analysis screen is organised as Match outlook: our read, then the score probability grid, then a breakdown of result, over 2.5 goals and both teams to score. - Both teams to score comes with an explainer that shows which cells of the score grid are added together, and where the figure differs from the one on the team comparison screen. - Player names in the Team of the Round banner now show in full. - Straight after a match, ratings that have not landed yet are marked as pending, and any figure on screen is clearly labelled as a season average. - Manager names now appear on many more matches from the 2025 season. - A new in-app announcement space lets us tell you about additions without waiting for the next update.

- Match details now show both managers by name. Tap a name to open that club's manager tab. - The stats screen has a tidier metric picker: choose a category, then switch between season totals and per-90 figures in one tap. - You can now write an App Store review straight from Settings. - A short in-app survey asks what you use JPick for and what you would like improved. It takes a few taps, it is entirely optional, and you can dismiss it at any time. - Under the hood: build and type-checking improvements so future updates ship more reliably.

Rankings now list only players with enough of a record, and show that requirement on screen. Rate and per-90 rankings now have a minimum: shots, take-ons, passes or minutes played. The requirement grows as a team plays more matches, and stops around the halfway point of the season. Each ranking heading shows the current requirement, and every row shows the sample behind the number, so 5/5 and 1/1 are easy to tell apart. When players tie, the bigger sample comes first. Tap the information icon to read how the requirement works. Players below the requirement still show their numbers on their own page, marked as a reference value. J2 and J3 stat rankings now list the full field, and tapping a row opens that player's page. Team comparison now opens on the current season.

See where a team's results ran ahead of - or behind - the underlying numbers. The Pro analysis tab now shows expected goals next to what actually happened, for both teams at once. Attack compares xG with goals scored, defence compares expected goals against with goals conceded, and the coloured part of each bar is the size of the gap (J1). Tap the information icon to read how to interpret a gap, including how much of a season it takes before the numbers settle. On Home, swipe left or right to move between rounds. The tabs stay in place at the top while you browse. Player stats now show dribble success rate and shot conversion. Team comparison now covers dribbles, chances created, expected goals, tackles, interceptions and duels for the 2026-27 season.

See why a team's - and a player's - numbers look the way they do. Every key team stat now shows the team's rank in the league, so you can tell at a glance whether a number is good. Tap a stat to see what is behind it: how it moved match by match, and which players produced it. Goals conceded breaks down into how the team actually defends - shots faced, shots on target faced, expected goals against, and saves. Tap any player in the breakdown to open their page. Pro adds the context: where the number sits in the league, how much of it comes from just two players, and when in a match it happens. Player pages now keep every season stat in one place, with a switch between season totals and per-90 figures. Pro shows where a player ranks in the league for every stat, among players in the same position. One stat is shown free on every player page. Player names and playing styles now display more accurately.

Match preview links now open straight in the app. Tap a JPick match preview link from anywhere and it opens in the app instead of the browser, on the same page you tapped. Preview articles opened this way keep the language of the link, so an English link stays in English. Team comparison now lets you switch seasons while your two teams stay selected. Season record and head-to-head are now separate sections, and each one states exactly which matches it covers. When the two teams are in different divisions, comparisons that rely on a league average are hidden with a short note, so nothing is compared against the wrong league.

Player pages are easier to find, and Team of the Round is now supported. A new Players tab lets you browse every club in J1, J2 and J3 and open any player's page directly. Standings are back on the tab bar, and Settings is now a button at the top right of the home screen. Player names now read the same way everywhere, so a player in a squad list and on their own page always match. Players who have not played yet now show their profile, with club, squad number and position. Team of the Round covers J1, J2 and J3. Each league has its own best XI and Man of the Match, plus the Super Sub of the round, and you can switch leagues in one tap. Alerts tell you which league they are about. J2 and J3 alerts are off by default and can be turned on in Settings, or straight from the Team of the Round screen. The trait radar now follows the season you choose for a player's stats, so it is always clear which season you are looking at. Stability and lineup display improvements. Fixed a crash that could make the match detail screen unusable when substitution data was incomplete. Formation view now appears for J2 and J3 matches. Lineups now appear at the top of the match detail screen once they are confirmed, with larger, easier-to-read text. Venue names are more accurate, including matches played at MUFG Stadium. Settings now shows when no teams are followed, so match notifications can be set up in one tap. Tapping a notification while the app is closed now opens the match or the preview article it refers to.

The 2026-27 season is now live in JPick. Season switch: standings, fixtures, stats and squads now follow the 2026-27 season. Pitch view: player values on the formation dots now appear right after a match, with more reliable player matching across seasons. Live matches: match stats and the goal timeline now update while a match is in progress. Lineups: the match lineup section now uses a single consistent layout with a position column and unified rating scale. Easier team browsing: the Standings tab is now Teams, and tapping anywhere on a row opens the team page. Various display refinements across match and team screens.

This update sharpens lineups and score insights ahead of the new season. Projected lineups now flag players who are sidelined through injury or suspension with a clear medical-cross badge, note that the lineup is a projection until officially announced, and switch automatically once confirmed. The injuries and suspensions list now shows exactly how fresh the data is, refreshed daily. And score insights take a clearer stance: JPick now calls the most likely outcome for each match with its probability, together with the most likely scoreline for that outcome, so every match gets a distinct read instead of a generic one. Introducing the Style tab. Open any team's page and the new Style tab shows how that team tends to play, at a glance. It reads across independent dimensions — possession versus direct play, how high up the pitch they operate, how much they attack down the wings, their defensive activity, and the quality of the chances they create. Each dimension sits on a spectrum with the team's place in the league, so you see a team's profile rather than a ranking. It describes a style, not who is stronger. A Match Tendencies section rounds things out with discipline, when goals tend to come, and set-piece volume. Free for everyone.
