Sponsorblock on iPhone is huge. It is quite a bit different from the stock client but it’s more focused. The dev seems pretty cool. The biggest drawback is the unintuitive and slow interface during playback.

So happy I found this app. It has many obvious perks, but one that people may not realize is how less distracting the format is vs regular YT. I’m not getting sucked in Shorts and can help filter out clickbaity videos. The only issue I’m running in to is sometimes the audio is not working :( unsure if it has anything to do with my headphones but it’s done it with my airpods, bose, and just the phone speaker. Hopefully a minor fix for the devs! (:

I very much enjoy this app as a nice, ad-free client. Though, I am running into a pretty tedious bug where none of the videos will play with audio after using PiP, resulting in me having to reinstall the app. It’s not a deal breaker, but it is just something I’d wanna make you aware of.

So simple and fast-responding. pip working ideally. I also love that it auto-resumes play after you use & close another app that requires mic or media input (big convenience for me, and some major network & player apps fail at this!)
