You can now import a recipe by scanning its QR code. This update applies your chosen theme from launch, centers free-meal text in the planner and fixes a menu crash on iPhone.

Grocery list categories now have colorful icons and a clearer selection. To add a recipe, a menu offers “From photos”, “From a link”, “From a file” or “Add manually” right away. This version also improves search, meal planning and navigation, along with overall reliability.

This update improves readability and the overall reliability of Yumiam. It also includes several refinements to meal planning, recipes and the grocery list.

The launch screen logo is finally readable in dark mode. An item moved to another aisle stays there: the list remembers your corrections, and adding an item no longer shows an aisle. Editing an item now separates name, quantity and unit. Recipe cards display properly when adding to the planner, even with many recipes. "Restore purchases" now recovers a Plus subscription the app had not received.

Quantities finally scale without becoming unusable. A recipe written for 6 and planned for 4 no longer asks for "⅔ carrot" or "166 ⅔ g": it gives weights and counts you can actually weigh and count. Menus open under the button that raises them again, instead of in the middle of the screen. The planner no longer lets two cards overlap while scrolling, and a recipe photo stays put when you pull the page down.

Yumiam has a new look: every screen redrawn, a dark theme with its own Appearance setting, and a tab bar, menus and panels taken from the system. Recipe import finally understands ingredients: clean names, quantities and units in their proper place, whatever language the site is in. Coming from Crouton? Export your book and open the file in Yumiam. And a new household starts with six recipes, never on an empty book.

Yumiam now speaks French, English, Spanish, German and Italian: the app follows your phone's language. This version also brings together everything rebuilt since the last App Store update: • a continuous meal planner, with drag-and-drop and hand-written meals; • a grocery list sorted by aisle, which learns the order of your shop; • a redesigned recipe page, with step-by-step cooking mode and editing; • Yumiam Plus, to share recipes, week and list with everyone at home.
