Connecting away from home is more reliable: Zephyr no longer gets stuck on your home address when you're on someone else's Wi-Fi, and you can go straight to Tailscale when you know you need it. Connect via Tailscale • Long-press a saved server and choose Connect via Tailscale to skip the check for your home network — for when you already know you're away Fixed • On someone else's Wi-Fi, Zephyr could get stuck trying your home address and never try Tailscale. If your home address doesn't sign you in within 8 seconds, Zephyr now moves to Tailscale on its own and tells you so: "LAN didn't work — trying Tailscale…" • If you're already signed in when the network changes, Zephyr checks the connection still reaches your NAS and switches to Tailscale if it doesn't • After signing out and back in, or switching servers, Zephyr stopped noticing network changes until the app was restarted • Moving between two Wi-Fi networks now counts as a network change • Tailscale gets more time to answer after a network change, so a connection that's still coming back isn't given up on

Zephyr now tells you what it's doing while it connects — most useful away from home on Tailscale — and lets you cancel a sign-in that's going nowhere. See what sign-in is doing • The server you're connecting to shows each step as it happens — "Trying LAN and Tailscale…", "Connecting via Tailscale…" — with a running count of seconds once it's taking a while • If your home network doesn't answer, it says it's trying Tailscale. If nothing answers, it tells you, in orange, before one last try at your home address • The Connect button shows the same status, and stays visible during Auto Sign-In • Saved servers with a Tailscale or DDNS address say so on the sign-in screen: "Remote access via Tailscale" • When a server can't be reached, the error names the routes Zephyr tried and suggests checking Tailscale if you're away from home • VoiceOver announces each step Cancel a sign-in • Stop a sign-in from the server's row, or from the button under Connect, instead of waiting out a 30-second timeout Fixed • Signing in right after turning on Tailscaleand then fail. Pools explain themselves - A pool that isn't healthy now tells you why, in plain language, instead of just "DEGRADED" — on the pool card, and in full on the detail screen - Pools needing attention sort first, so the one with a problem is the one you see - A pool flagged for attention while still reading ONLINE no longer shows a green dot as though nothing were wrong - Pool detail also reports upgradeable ZFS feature flags and self-encrypting disks Remove a pool - Disconnect a pool to export it and leave its data on the disks, or delete it outright and wipe them. Both live in a Danger Zone on the pool's detail screen - Before you commit, Zephyr asks the server what actually depends on the pool and lists it: SMB and NFS shares, apps, and anything holding files open - Deleting names the numbers — how much data, how many disks — and won't unlock until you type the pool's name - The export runs as a server job and is followed phase by phase, not left on a spinner API keys - A new API Keys screen lists every key on the server, filterable by active, inactive and orphaned - Create, rename, set or clear an expiry, regenerate and delete. A new key's secret is shown once with a copy button, because that's the only time TrueNAS will give it to you - Each user's own keys appear on their detail screen - Orphaned keys are called out and can be cleared in one go. Alert notifications now carry Acknowledge and View buttons, so you can clear an alert straight from the Lock Screen without opening Zephyr.
