NetCheck is a simple network diagnosis app built for everyday users.
If a website will not load, an app keeps spinning, or your hotspot feels unstable, you should not need to read a wall of technical data just to guess what is wrong. NetCheck helps you quickly see whether the problem is more likely with Wi-Fi, your local network, or the internet connection upstream.
When you open the app, it runs a diagnosis automatically and tells you:
- whether Wi-Fi is connected
- whether your local network is reachable
- whether the internet is working
- whether the network is unstable
- whether Wi-Fi quality or link quality looks weak
You can also view:
- the current network type
- the current Wi-Fi name when iOS allows it
- gateway and internet probe results
- diagnosis details such as RTT, packet loss, and jitter
Instead of showing raw data first, NetCheck gives you the conclusion first and the evidence after that, so it is easier to tell:
- whether the router or hotspot device may be the issue
- whether the local network is fine but the internet is down
- or whether the network is not fully offline but just unstable
If you need help from someone more technical, you can copy a structured diagnosis summary and send it to them.
Great for situations like:
- Wi-Fi says connected, but websites still do not open
- office or home internet feels unstable and you do not know which part failed
- a phone hotspot works sometimes but not consistently
- you want to tell whether the issue is local or with your provider
This version focuses on foreground, on-demand diagnosis. It does not provide background monitoring, packet capture, VPN, proxy, or router management tools.

Added DNS diagnosis. When probe domains cannot be resolved, the app now reports a `DNS issue` instead of a generic internet issue.
When DNS resolution fails or partially fails, result cards, details, copied summaries, and shared result cards now include the DNS status.
