What's New in Version 7.0 Drift is now a sleep sound app. 34 sounds, from rain and a box fan to ocean waves and a crackling fire, each playing under its own moving scene. Instrumental, a new collection: eight calm tracks, from Night Piano to Violin Lullaby. Both of those are free. A sleep timer that fades out at the end, a mixer for up to four sounds, and play and pause from your lock screen. The nightlight turns your screen into a soft light in one of six colors. We dropped the baggage and went hyper-focused on what you wanted most from Drift: sleep.

What's New in Version 6.0 The Current: every drift you finish now sinks you deeper. Start in the Sunlight a few meters down and watch the water carry you toward the Twilight, the Midnight, and eventually the Abyss. A streak that can't break. Miss a day and a Still Water holds your current exactly where you left it. Your depth pauses instead of resetting, and nothing scolds you when you come back. Small daily asks worth a little more glow: wind down after nine, try a sound you haven't heard, notice how you feel afterward. Reach a vault every week or so and the water gives something back. Three new wallpapers and two new app icons, earned only by showing up. They can't be bought. Weekly routes let you flavor the week, with a premium Deep Sleep run of nightly wind-downs. Cicadas: a new night soundscape, a humid August wall of sound.

A thin ring of light traces each phase so you always know where you are in the breath.
