Cardie Golf: AI Scorecards
Scan, share, track handicap
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases
Cardie turns your paper scorecard into a digital round in seconds. Snap a photo after your round — the app extracts your scores, putts, and fairway hits automatically. Review, correct if needed, and confirm.
Every round generates a shareable highlight card with your scores. Perfect for the group chat or social media.
SCAN
Take a photo of your scorecard. Within seconds, Cardie reads your hole-by-hole scores using AI vision.
SHARE
Each round creates a visual summary designed for sharing — scores, highlights, weather, and a personal message.
REACT
React to your own rounds and to rounds from anyone in your groups — tap for a quick reaction, or hold and slide to pick an emoji. Every round shows how many people have viewed and reacted, and you get a notification when someone does. Pro members can see exactly who's been viewing and reacting.
TRACK
Build your playing history round by round. Average score, putts, GIR, fairways, par-by-par averages, and scoring distribution. Switch between all your rounds, just the ones that count toward your handicap, and a live feed of rounds from across your groups.
HANDICAP
After 3 rounds, Cardie calculates a full WHS-style handicap index — the best 8 of your last 20 differentials — backed by your scanned scorecards. Free for everyone. Pro adds a shareable, printable certificate for tournament registration.
GROUPS
Create a group for your golf society. Members see each other's rounds, react and cheer each other on, climb monthly leaderboards, and keep up with upcoming events. Every new player automatically joins Cardie Public, a global feed of rounds from golfers everywhere. Works across courses and countries.
EVENTS
Set up events for your group — stroke play, stableford, or skins, scored gross or net. Players scan their own cards and scores flow into the leaderboard. Run remote events where members play at different courses and compete by differential.
COURSES
Playing somewhere new? Search 42,000+ courses and add yours in seconds — find it nearby or by city, with the full layout and no scorecard photo needed. Community stats and a Cardie rating show how each course actually plays.
FREE & PRO
Scan and share rounds, track your stats, get your full WHS handicap, join a group, follow Cardie Public, and compete in events — all free. Pro unlocks unlimited round history (free keeps your most recent 20), advanced stats and trends, the shareable handicap certificate, unlimited groups and events, and course photo submissions.
Built for amateur golfers in Southeast Asia and beyond.

more Every notification now takes you where it points — tap "results are published"
and you land on that event, whether you tapped the push banner or a row in the
bell list. Saving a round got a smart date check too.
NOTIFICATIONS THAT LAND
Event results, join approvals, invites, and reaction alerts all open the exact
screen they're about, from the push banner and the in-app bell list alike. A
reaction to your tier promotion opens your ladder with that graduation
highlighted and scrolled into view.
RIGHT DATE, EVERY TIME
Saving a round onto a day that already has one asks "is that the right date?"
first — and lets you fix it right there without starting over. Two rounds in a
day is still perfectly fine; this catches the misread scorecard date.
MEDALS THAT MATCH
Your gold, silver, and bronze counts now agree everywhere they appear — the
Compete tab and your profile's Events card tell the same story.
ODDS & ENDS
Apple sign-ups show your real name from the first launch, tap the status bar
to jump back to the top of a profile, steadier Pro status that can't flicker
off, and plenty of stability polish.
1.7.1 5d ago
Head to Head is here — pick any friend you share a group with and compare your
games side by side: rounds, scoring, accuracy, score mix, bests, and events.
Your profile got more visual too, and the Rounds screen now shows every hole
in its true score colour.
HEAD TO HEAD
Open it from your profile (pick an opponent) or a friend's profile. Bars meet
in the middle, the leader's side lights up, and the period filter (HCP / Last
5 / Last 20 / All) switches instantly.
YOUR PROFILE, MORE VISUAL
Soft trend lines now run behind your HCP and AVG cards — your index and
scoring over time at a glance — and the score-mix card is a real bar chart
whose heights show which scores dominate your game.
TRUE SCORE COLOURS
The hole-by-hole strips under Front 9 / Back 9 on the Rounds screen now paint
each hole in its actual score colour — bogey gold, double orange, birdie blue,
eagle purple — and look the same in light and dark mode.
ODDS & ENDS
The QR on a shared round card now opens the app download, Pro status corrects
itself if a lapsed subscription is ever missed, and plenty of stability polish.
1.7.0 Aug 17
Profile Tiers are here — climb from Rookie to Legend as you play, and celebrate
every graduation right in your group feed. This release also brings community
Course Reviews, hands-free scorecard scanning, and a big wave of polish.
PROFILE TIERS
Every round moves you up a six-rung ladder — Rookie, Amateur, Seasoned, Elite,
Champion, Legend. Your tier badge rides your avatar across the app, a new Tier
Details screen shows your climb and the date you reached each rung, and when a
groupmate levels up, a graduation card lands in the feed for everyone to react to.
COURSE REVIEWS
Rate any course across eight categories — the community's average blooms into a
colour rose on the course page, with a review score right on the Courses cards.
Browse everyone's reviews, and edit yours for a week after you play.
HANDS-FREE SCANNING
Snap your scorecard and leave the screen — the AI reads it in the background and
nudges you the moment it's ready to check. Scans keep going even if you leave the
app, and pick back up when you return.
SCORE, YOUR WAY
New score-display modes, plus correct 9-hole handicaps so a nine is scored right.
SEE MORE OF YOUR GROUP
Tap into another player's rounds, profile, and tier ladder for anyone you share a
private group with.

Unified avatar badges that finally look right in dark mode, a restructured Events
tab, promote a great round photo to the course, instant tap feedback everywhere,
sharper monthly leaderboards, and plenty of stability and localization polish.

1.6.0 Aug 8
Profiles are here. You've got your own tab now — a banner you choose, a photo
album, and your golfing year at a glance — and you can tap any player anywhere
in the app to see theirs. There's also a whole new way to record how a round
actually felt, and a plain-English answer to "why is my handicap that number?"
YOUR PROFILE
Your own tab with a custom banner, a photo album, and cards for your rounds,
handicap, courses, events and groups — with the courses you play most and the
events you've placed in.
EVERY PLAYER'S PROFILE
Tap any avatar or name — in a group, on a leaderboard, in an event — to open
that player's profile and see their year. Their avatar carries their Pro medal,
and you can join or request to join a group straight from it.
RATE YOUR ROUND
After you save, rate how it went across eight areas — driving, approach,
chipping, putting, plus the conditions, your head and your strategy. It draws
as a web chart on the round summary, as a coloured ring on each round in your
list, and it feeds your round recap.
YOUR HCP EXPLAINED
A dedicated screen that opens with your index, the best-8-of-20 rounds it's
built from, and a chart of every counting differential — then explains, against
the actual World Handicap System rules, why it is what it is.
ADVANCED STATS
One screen for the shape of your game: an at-a-glance strip, scoring
distribution, your rating averages and your handicap history, all scoped to the
period you pick.
EASIER TO SCAN
Month headings across Rounds, Events and Groups, no more five-event limit on
the Events tab, and cleaner cards throughout — event results now say who won
and by how much, and a course's Cardie difficulty rating reads as a single bar.
FREE & PRO
Free accounts keep your 20 most recent rounds. Pro is unlimited — and deleting
a round always frees up a slot.
ODDS & ENDS
Dark mode no longer casts green on blurred bars and sheets, avatars show the
same colour everywhere, notification badges clear properly, and event playing
handicaps now use the index you brought to the round.
1.5.2 Jul 29
Your group feed now celebrates the moments that matter — when an event wraps or a
monthly leaderboard closes, it shows up as a podium card right alongside everyone's
rounds. Multi-nine courses are sorted out top to bottom, photo uploads are tougher,
and reviewing a scan is smoother than ever.
GROUP MOMENTS
When an event's results are published, or a group's monthly leaderboard closes, it
now appears in your group feed as a celebratory podium card — top three with medals,
the group logo, and the scoring format — woven in with everyone's rounds. Tap to jump
straight to the event or the leaderboard.
MULTI-NINE, SORTED
On courses with more than 18 holes — where you play two of three nines — your stats,
Stableford scores, and personal-best alerts now line up everywhere: the same birdies,
fairways, and net scores whether it's your round or a friend's. And if a round was
scanned with the front and back nine in the wrong order, you can swap them — and the
app now offers to before you save.
PRO TIPS
A new tip banner on your Rounds screen surfaces handy pointers and what's new. Tap it
to jump to the feature, and it tucks itself away.
STURDIER PHOTOS
Round photos keep uploading in the background even if you force-quit mid-upload, and
adding or removing a photo while one's still uploading now behaves.
SMOOTHER CORRECTIONS
Reviewing a scan is calmer: editing a score no longer jumps you to a different hole,
the last hole is no longer hidden behind the Save bar, and the +/- buttons got a polish.
EVENTS
Once results are published the roster is final — pending invitees see a clear "event
closed" note. A round you add to an event later now shows the event on its summary,
setting a player's handicap no longer crashes the screen, and the publish warning
counts only players who actually accepted.
ODDS & ENDS
Same-day rounds now sort newest-first, the Groups tab opens lighter, cleaner group-
activity labels, and plenty of stability polish.
1.4.0 Jun 23
Event organizers can now nudge everyone who hasn't answered an invite with a
single tap — and unfinished rounds are finally first-class: clearly badged,
easy to finish saving, and never counted or shown until you do. Course photos
are open to everyone now too.
REMIND YOUR INVITEES
One tap re-sends the event invite to everyone still pending, after a quick
confirm. A built-in 6-hour cooldown keeps it friendly — the button counts down
until it's ready again.
COURSE PHOTOS FOR EVERYONE
Adding photos to a course no longer needs Pro. Snap, submit, and help build
better course pages for every golfer.
A BETTER FIRST IMPRESSION
New players get the full tour of all four tabs, and the demo courses now look
real — ratings, player counts, a course map, and live weather — before the
first scorecard is ever scanned.
UNFINISHED ROUNDS
A scanned-but-unsaved round now wears an "Unpublished" badge and re-opens
straight into the save step. Until you save it, it stays out of your handicap,
your groups' activity, and every leaderboard.
ODDS & ENDS
Group admins without Pro keep full control of members and details (only
leaderboard-format changes ask for Pro), sharper and more accurate round
recaps, and plenty of small fixes.
1.3.3 Jun 12
Leaderboards just got clearer: monthly and event standings now shows your score against par — and every row shows your net with its to-par, like 65 (+12). You can also log a full 18-hole round on a 9-hole course played twice around, and your handicap stats now show which rounds are actually setting your index.
CLEARER LEADERBOARDS
Monthly and event standings rank by net score relative to par, so an easy, low-par course producing lower net score is easily distiquishable. Each row shows your net total alongside its to-par (e.g. 65 (+12)).
18 HOLES ON A 9-HOLE COURSE
Played your 9-hole course twice around? You can now record it as a full 18-hole round — the holes, handicap, and net all add up correctly.
KNOW WHAT'S SETTING YOUR HANDICAP
Your handicap stats now flag the round about to drop out of your scoring window when it's one of the 8 currently setting your index — so you can see at a glance what's holding your handicap.
SMOOTHER FIRST RUN
The sample rounds new players see now clear themselves automatically once you've been through the intro tours, dropping you straight into your own app, ready to scan.
PHOTOS & SETTINGS POLISH
A round photo that fails to upload now waits with a tap-to-retry instead of disappearing, your profile picture can come from the camera or your gallery, and Settings no longer flashes "not set" while it loads.
ODDS & ENDS
A fixed "no internet" flash when reopening the app, a tidier round recap, and plenty of stability polish.
1.3.2 Jun 10
Personal Bests are here — beat your best and the round earns a gold celebration on
your summary and in the group feed. Everything's faster and calmer too, with a
much-improved photo viewer, smarter notifications, and stats that update the moment
you log a round.
PERSONAL BESTS
Beat your best 9, your best 18, or your score on a course and the round earns a gold
"Personal Best" badge — on your round summary and in the group feed.
FASTER, CALMER LOADING
Groups, Events, and round screens open quicker and shimmer in the numbers still being
calculated, instead of flashing blanks or hanging. Opening a round no longer stalls,
and links from notifications load on their own.
PHOTO VIEWER UPGRADE
Turn your phone for full-screen landscape, double-tap to zoom, and pinch-and-drag to
inspect a scorecard or photo — plus a rotate button to straighten a sideways scan.
SMARTER NOTIFICATIONS
Tapping a notification now clears its badge right away and opens the right screen
reliably, even from a cold start — and read state syncs across your devices.
STATS THAT KEEP UP
Your HCP and Best 9 update the moment you save or correct a round, new rounds count
toward your stats by default, and a strong nine inside an 18 now counts toward Best 9.
ODDS & ENDS
A sharper round recap that understands putting and generates faster, big-font fixes
throughout, real names across Courses, and plenty of stability polish.

1.3.0 Jun 5
SCANS OPTIMIZED
Significantly increased speed and reliability of the scorecard AI Capture.
TEAM ROUNDS ADDED
Play scramble or best‑ball with up to 4 players and save it as one shared round. Invite teammates from your groups, accept or decline by push, and everyone on the team sees the round on their card (with the team HCP). Scramble is free for everyone.
ROUND PHOTOS ALBUM
Snap a few photos with your scorecard and they show up on the round, in the round summary, and on the group activity card. Teammates can add photos to a shared round too.
ROUND SUMMARY REDESIGN
Redesigned for a calmer read — adjusted gross and ESR under the total, a clearer HCP row with a signed delta, smoother loading, and swipe to dismiss the scorecard images. Full scorecard now shows fairway hits and stableford points including totals for score, putts, fairways and points.
SPANISH
The whole app — including the scoring guide, dates, and the force‑update screen — now speaks Spanish, and follows your chosen language.
COURSE CARDIE RATINGS
Card now shows the Cardie rating and how many rounds have been played there. Unrated courses get a par‑based estimated rating so playing handicap still works, with an ⓘ explaining the assumption.
EVENT CALENDAR
New Events tab layout with the calendar on top and an "all my events" view. The monthly leaderboard shows a live countdown on its final day.
GROUPS ACTIVITY
Keep up with everyone's rounds as they come in. Scroll back through the feed to see what your groups have been playing, pull to refresh for the latest, and when a round is shared to more than one of your groups you'll see where it came from. Long‑press a round card anywhere to drop a reaction, and each card shows the score relative to par at a glance, plus the round number, HCP rank, holes played, views, and reactions.
SETTINGS AND DEFAULT SCREEN
Pick your default screen, switch the Language picker like any other setting, and a new "show your own rounds in the Groups feed" toggle.
Profile: A subtle ratings base badge on avatars (with a gentle one‑time nudge to set yours), and new users pick their ratings base at sign‑up.
Notifications: Push for team‑round invites, plus better tap‑routing so notifications open the right screen — even from a cold start.
Round narrative: Faster and a bit better at telling the story of your round while understanding more context than before.
Plus lots of polish across reactions, photos, the Groups tab, account deletion, and the preview tour — and overall stability enhancements.
1.2.0 Jun 1
Reactions: React with an emoji to rounds from anyone in your groups. Tap React for a quick reaction, or hold and slide to pick one — you can long-press anywhere on a group round card too.
Engagement: Rounds now show view and reaction counts. Pro members can see exactly who viewed and reacted, with names and photos.
Reaction alerts: Get notified when someone reacts to your round, plus an occasional nudge when a round is getting attention.
Rounds: A new All / HCP / Groups switcher on the Rounds tab. HCP shows the rounds counting toward your handicap. Groups is a live feed of rounds from everyone in your groups.
Group invites: Share a link or QR code to invite players, and approve join requests right from the group (pending requests show a red dot).
Settings: Switch weather between metric and imperial, and pick which groups appear in your Groups feed.
Round summary: Clearer handicap details and faster loading.
Plus lots of polish and fixes across groups, reactions, and connectivity.
1.1.0 May 25
Pricing: Full handicap is now free (no 5-round limit, no "Limited" tag)
42.000 courses added: "Add course" → find nearby or search a city → add instantly with full layout (no scorecard photo needed)
Gender ratings: new Gender option in Settings switches men's/ladies course ratings; handicap recalculates app-wide.
Bottom-nav restructure: tabs are now Rounds · Courses · Groups · Events · Profile. Scan is the green "+" top-right of Rounds. Tap your avatar (far right) for Profile & Settings.
Rounds: You can not search your rounds in round history.
Pro badge: Pro users' avatars show a gold medal — your profile, groups, leaderboards, event rosters.
Weather: Weather overview on course detail is a simplified daytime summary and is now a Pro feature.
Groups: Introduction of Cardie Public group.
Connectivity: Offline banner shows on connection loss and clears on reconnect.
1.0.2 May 22
• Optimized loading and compute on slower connections.
• New handicap row on round summary: HCP before, playing handicap, and HCP after side-by-side with a trend arrow showing whether your index moved up, down, or stayed flat.
• Score differential is now visible directly on every round.
• Event organisers can edit every field they originally picked at create time — date, tee time, allowance, even switching between local and remote events. Saving asks whether to notify participants or save quietly.
• Group leaderboards and monthly standings reconcile correctly across the home, group cards, and detail screens — fixed issues with different numbers on different screens.
Plus many under-the-hood improvements that make handicap, stats, and leaderboard numbers more smooth to navigate.
1.0.1 May 11
Every notification now takes you where it points — tap "results are published"
and you land on that event, whether you tapped the push banner or a row in the
