Change your check-in time right away: tap “Next check-in due” on the main screen to change your daily time – no detour through settings.

A clear start: at the end of setup you see when your first check-in is due and who is notified otherwise. If you just want to try AliveGuard first, you can leave the alert off for now. • When the alert is off, the main screen now says so clearly – with a button to switch it back on. • Notifications on iPhone: AliveGuard now reliably lets you know when your contacts have been notified – and when one of them is already looking after you.

• Your next check-in stays on the right day: checking in several times or changing the check-in time no longer pushes it back by mistake. • After the clocks change, messages to your contacts show the correct time of your last check-in.

• An even more reliable SOS button: when the connection is poor, AliveGuard keeps trying to send your call for help automatically – and confirms as soon as it has arrived. • New in settings: "Help & feedback", with frequently asked questions, a direct line for your ideas and wishes, and a way to rate AliveGuard. • Small improvements to how the settings respond to your taps.

A small maintenance update. Nothing changes in how you use the app – AliveGuard works just as before.

Your emergency contacts now have their own place to check in on you: • Contact portal: your contacts sign in with just their email — no password, nothing to install — to see your status and, with Premium, adjust your check-in time if it's ever needed. • You decide what each contact can do: only get notified, see your status, or manage your settings. • Nothing changes behind your back — a change a contact makes waits for your phone to pick it up and show it to you first.

This release brings three improvements: • Your additional check-in times (Premium) now automatically notify your contacts too, if a confirmation doesn't come in – just like your main check-in. • The widget now shows how much time is left before your contacts are notified. • Small fix: tapping “I'm OK” twice in a row no longer accidentally skips your next check-in.

Two new ways to stay in the loop: • Home screen widget: your next check-in at a glance, with an “I'm OK” button right on your home screen — no need to open the app. • WhatsApp notifications (Premium): your emergency contacts can now also be alerted by WhatsApp, once they've agreed to it.

Setting up AliveGuard is new: • Say up front whether you are setting it up for yourself or for someone else — every later step is worded accordingly. • Three clear steps with a progress bar; going back never loses what you typed. • Set the check-in time during setup instead of looking for it afterwards. • Pick the country code from a list instead of typing the international form. • Premium options are now shown instead of hidden.

This release fixes a display issue: - In rare cases the main screen did not fit – with a very large system font, for instance, or when the phone was turned sideways. It now adapts and can be scrolled if needed. - On phones the view stays upright so "I'm OK" is always visible. On tablets you can still rotate.

This release makes two things visible: - If an emergency contact has an address that cannot receive email at all (example.com, for instance), the app now points that out – while you type it and in the contact list. You can still save it. - With Premium you can see in the settings how many SMS alerts are left this month. When the last one is used, the app tells you. Email alerts still go out without limit in every version.

This release fixes an issue with automatic SMS notifications: - The "Automatic SMS notification" setting is now reliably respected. Previously contacts could receive an SMS even when the option was switched off. - Your premium status is confirmed directly with the server. If it cannot be confirmed for a longer period, the app tells you. - Phone numbers are validated before sending, so an SMS can no longer fail unnoticed. Email alerts were never affected.
