The subscription function is only to improve the user experience of the APP. It does not affect the normal use of the APP whether you subscribe or not.
2. Subscription Benefits
With a Weekly Pass Pro or Annual Pass Pro subscription, you can:
- After purchasing Weekly Pass Pro or Annual Pass Pro, you can watch any episode without limit.
- Ad-free: After unlocking, except for incentive ads, other types of ads will no longer be displayed.
- 1080P resolution: Video playback supports selecting 1080P resolution.
3. About automatic renewal
- Subscription will be automatically renewed 24 hours before the valid period. You can cancel the automatic renewal at any time. There is no refund when the renewal is successful.
- If your payment method cannot be charged, your subscription may not renew. The payment may be retried in accordance with the applicable billing policy. If a retry is successful, you will be charged the applicable renewal price for the subscription period disclosed to you.
4. How to cancel the subscription
- Open StoryReel and click on the avatar in the top right corner.
- Click on "Payment and Subscription" and then click on "Subscription".
- Select your StoryReel subscription.
- Click on "Cancel Subscription".

I subscribed to the one day pass because I had gotten reeled in by this story and the story was great but the story was incomplete and all of the stories that I watched on that one day pass were incomplete. They just leave you hanging. some people like stories like that I don’t so I tried to cancel, but I didn’t see anywhere to cancel my subscription before it renewed to go to a week pass. So the next day I was charged the 1999+ tax for a week subscription. I contacted customer service and when I tell y’all in 30 minutes. maybe less they had emailed me back they asked for some information to verify my account and they canceled and refunded my subscription. if you’re short story type of person but remember the short stories are incomplete so if you’re a short story type of person that likes to guess at the ending or make up your own ending, this is the perfect app for you, but I give them five star because the stories that I did look at were very interesting except for that one issue of them leaving me hanging and having to guess at the end I don’t like stories like that and I also give them five stars based off their customer service. Their customer service is great, fantastic, phenomenal. they were quick, very quick at contacting me back and fixing my issues with canceling my subscription and refunding me my money back.

I usually watch my real actor vertical dramas on other platforms and just use this one as an AI story cause lowkey the fantasy (dragon and werewolf) ones tend to look better as AI since they can do the CGI better since it’s all digital anyway. That being said, most of the stories can get repetitive/same plot so I save a few titles I want to watch and get like 10+ then pay for the subscription so I know it’ll be worth it and binge all the ones I have saved. Worth it for that aspect for me but if you just watch one here and there the subscription isn’t worth your money and probably more worth it to buy coins. But if you’re spending any more than $25 a week on coins, pay for the subscription and you’ll save money. I’ve also had problems with other apps and canceling the subscription (won’t show up as an active subscription in my account in Apple but also doesn’t have a way to cancel in app and tells you to cancel using manage subscription in Apple), but I’ve never had that problem with StoryReel, if it doesn’t pop up in your subscriptions, it’s fairly easy to find in app to cancel. Stories are good but could be improved

I came in because I wanted to watch the story about a girl and her cat shifter boyfriend(s), but was really annoyed when I watched as EVERYTHING was unnecessarily narrated, except when the characters were talking to each other. It was extremely annoying. It was like listening to an audiobook while watching things play out in the background. It’s like, dude, I can see it, you don’t need to tell me what’s happening if you can show me! If I wanted to listen to an audiobook I would. I was really disappointed, because the story looked really good. I gave it a few chapters in hopes the narration would drift into the background or only come up when the main character was thinking something we need to hear to keep the story going, but that never happened. I watched another story with a male siren and that played normal, but turned into a series that I wasn’t expecting and felt a bit disjointed. But I’m willing to see that one through if it doesn’t go too wonky.I tried another story that looked promising, and checked out the moment I noticed it had the over narration problem like the first one. The over narration doesn’t happen in all the stories, but seems pretty prevalent in this app. I don’t think I’ll be coming back too much due to that.

So I tried this app to see what I thought of it completely unpaid for opinion or trial and paid for the week myself! I had a little app to billing connection issue which made it hard to figure out how to cancel but after one email explaining with my StoryReel ID and email used to sign up, it was no big deal to cancel if I wanted to which was so reassuring! Similar apps with the same issues didn’t fix it or even respond for that matter that way and I had to “stop and block future charge” with my actual bank to get it to stop charging me! So A+ on customer service!!! Please don’t change!!! The stories on here are actually amazing! And customer support was spot on! The AI stories are also sooo good!! Some can be a little laggy or off on what the characters are actually trying to say… other than that the story lines are entertaining enough to keep me watching, I’m unsponsored and was just looking for a good story app! I’m pretty impressed with this one based on what I found! Try if you want!
