Bug Fixes and general optimizations.

Purgd now suggests where each capture belongs right after you write it — pick a space or start a new one, and it remembers your choice so the same kind of note sorts itself next time. Prayers and intentions still only ever go to your private, local-only spaces. All Captures also gets a proper home screen, with a detail view for anything still waiting to be filed, so nothing you jot down gets lost.

Outcomes: big goals, one step at a time Projects are now Outcomes. An Outcome is a result you're committed to making true, like "Launch a YouTube channel," not a folder of tasks. Guided mode. Open any Outcome and tap "Guide me, one step at a time." Purgd asks how you'll know it's finished, builds a short plan, and shows you exactly one next step. "See what's ahead" peeks at the rest if you want it. AI framing and planning (Pro). Instead of a blank text box, the AI offers three tailored guesses for why this matters and what done looks like. Pick one or write your own. Plans come from GPT-4o and regenerate as you make progress. Free users get the same guided flow with a built-in planner. Skipping any question never blocks you. "I'm stuck." Tap it, say what kind of stuck (too big, too vague, scary, boring, not really mine), and the step gets replaced with something smaller. You decide when it's done. When the plan runs out, Purgd asks "Is this true now?" against your own finish line. It never auto-completes an Outcome just because the generated steps got checked. Purgd Partner hands off. When Partner spots a capture that's really a multi-session commitment, it offers "Make it an Outcome" with a starter plan, instead of dumping template steps into your Actions list. Today knows the mission. When your surfaced action belongs to an Outcome, the hero card shows "Toward: {your Outcome}." Small touches: an optional one-line reflection after finishing a step (what you write reshapes the remaining plan), clean undo across the guided flow, and everything works offline.

purgd now helps you start, not just organize. • Start beats finish. You'll get a quiet moment of credit the instant you begin something you'd been putting off — not only when it's done. • The one that matters, up top. Today now leads with your most meaningful action instead of just the shortest to-do. • Stuck? Name it. When something keeps sliding, purgd asks what kind of stuck it is — too big, too vague, a bit daunting — and hands you a matched first step. • From vague to doable. Adding something fuzzy to Today? purgd offers to turn it into a concrete two-minute first step. • A widget that starts, not scolds. The home-screen widget now surfaces one startable action with a Start button. • Full light mode across the app, a new settings hub, and unified Search + Logbook. • Today auto-populates instead of dumping everything to Later, plus a Monthly Review refresh and quality-of-life fixes.

Light mode finally works everywhere. Open Settings, pick Light or Dark, or let Purgd follow your phone, and the whole app changes with you instead of staying dark. We also tidied up Settings. Instead of one long scroll, everything now lives in clear groups like Appearance, Focus, Notifications, and Account, so you can find what you need in a couple of taps.

General bug updates. Added "light theme" in addition to dark (standard). You can now set tasks to repeat on a daily, weekly, or custom interval. The moment you finish one, the next appears on its own, so nothing slips through the cracks. Brain dump out loud and watch Purgd sort everything into place. Capture a batch by voice and you get the sort reveal at the end, ready to share if you want. Purgd now surfaces what it has learned about you right on your Today screen. When it notices a task usually runs longer than you plan for, or spots a pattern worth knowing, it gives you a quiet nudge instead of leaving it buried in your profile. Feeling buried? Unwhelm now strips your day down to a single next thing, so you always know where to start. We also fixed the evening rollover that flipped you to "Tomorrow is a new day" too early, and cleaned up a lot of wording and rough edges along the way.

• Focus sessions now learn how long your tasks really take and suggest realistic timer lengths. • New "How Long Things Really Take" insight in your Profile. • Optional "Use my realistic times" setting starts each session at your learned length. • Prayer now recognizes intentions across many traditions automatically. • Tidier Prayer List filters and more accurate sorting (Intercessions, Petitions, Thanksgiving, Reflections).

• Redesigned Board with smooth iOS-style drag-and-drop, customizable columns, and reliable column ordering. • Smarter capture: tasks are automatically classified and routed to the right place, including a dedicated prayer list. • Reworked onboarding -- now fully localized in all 5 supported languages. • Richer Markdown import & export. • Faster, more reliable sync and a range of stability and crash fixes.

Purgd 1.0.1 is a stability and polish release focused on making capture, planning, and recovery feel more reliable. What’s improved: - Voice capture now works more gracefully in local-only setups, with clearer guidance when cloud features are unavailable. - Offline captures are protected more carefully when reconnecting, reducing the risk of local work being overwritten by older cloud data. - Due-today and overdue tasks now surface more reliably in Today, regardless of priority. - Swipe actions now close cleanly after completion, promotion, or deletion. - Quick wins are more accurate and harder to complete accidentally. - Photos are easier to attach and find from task lists. - Completed tasks can now be restored from the Done log. - Settings are easier to access from the More tab. - Purchase and restore errors now show clearer messages. - Routing Log, stats, onboarding, shortcut setup, and accessibility flows received several polish fixes. This update also includes crash-reporting, launch-time, memory, localization, and App Store compliance improvements.
