Hasaki Customer Facing is the shopper's screen at a Hasaki store counter. While the cashier scans your items, everything appears on the display in front of you in real time, so you can follow along and check your order before you leave.
WHAT YOU SEE AT THE COUNTER
• Your basket, live. Every item, quantity and price appears the moment it is scanned, with the newest item at the top of the list.
• A running total. Subtotal, tax and the amount due update with each item, so nothing is a surprise at the end.
• Your details, entered by you. Type your phone number or email on the on-screen keypad yourself, instead of reading it out across a busy counter.
• Your receipt, your choice. Ask for a printed receipt, a receipt by email, or both.
• A clear summary. When the order is complete, the full list and total are shown so you can check them.
MADE FOR A SHOP COUNTER
• Large type and high-contrast colours, readable at arm's length across a wide counter.
• A number keypad on screen, so your phone number is never spelled out aloud in front of other shoppers.
• Your email address is masked on screen once you have entered it.
• The screen clears between orders, so the next shopper never sees your details.
A DISPLAY, NOT A TILL
Hasaki Customer Facing is the shopper-facing half of the Hasaki store system. It shows information; it does not ring up sales. The app never starts an order on its own, and it does not process or store card details. Everything it shows is sent to it by the cashier's terminal at the same counter, over the store's own network.
Because of that, the app is made to run on screens installed at Hasaki store counters. Away from a store counter — or before store staff have paired a screen with its counter — the app opens to an empty basket and tells you it is not connected to a terminal. That is expected: there is no counter for it to follow. Pairing is done once by staff when the screen is installed.
No account and no sign-in are needed. Giving a phone number or email is optional, and is used only to link the order to your Hasaki customer profile and to send the receipt you asked for.
