NEW: V1 Mode (Pro) Named after a pilot's takeoff-decision speed, V1 strips the comfort padding from a single flight and gives you the latest practical time to leave while still reaching the gate around when boarding opens. Switch it on per trip in the flight's assumptions sheet. It keeps the real minutes (drive, security, walk, parking) honest and clearly warns that your margin is tighter. Live leave-time refresh (Pro) - With a trip open, GatePilot rechecks live traffic and flight status about once a minute and re-times your leave-by. - Monitoring now keeps running through a delay, tracking the new estimated departure instead of going dark. - Background gate-watch refreshes your flight even when the app is closed, tightening as departure nears. - A "Leave time moved earlier/later" banner shows the old and new time, so your leave-by never changes silently, and you can set how big a change it takes to flag you, from 2 to 15 minutes. Ground transport - Rental car return is now a first-class option, with a "Gas stop before return" toggle (+8 min) for the pre-return fill-up. - Choose exactly how you reach the terminal: drop-off, rideshare, terminal or economy parking, rental return, or shuttle/transit, each with realistic, airport-size-aware timing. - Driving or parking? A new Navigate row hands off to Google or Apple Maps for live-traffic directions instead of rideshare buttons. Smarter flights - Add flights weeks ahead, pick the exact one when several match, and see departures in the airport's local time. - International flights through ICAO-only hubs (like Heathrow) now resolve reliably, and codeshares show your ticketed airline. Reminders that behave - Every upcoming saved flight gets its own leave-by, heads-up, and day-before reminders (free). - Starting-point nudges stop the moment you set your location, gate alerts no longer repeat, and cancelled or diverted flights get a dedicated alert.
