I built UnitForge because every unit converter I tried was either full of ads, locked basic units behind a paywall, or just got the math wrong.
UnitForge is different. Pay once, use forever. No ads. No subscriptions. No tracking. No accounts. It just works.
What you get:
- 40+ conversion categories — from everyday (distance, weight, temperature) to engineering (viscosity, thermal conductivity, torque) to medical (blood glucose, HbA1c, cholesterol)
- Cooking conversions that actually work — 1 cup of flour ≠ 1 cup of sugar. Select your ingredient, get the right weight. 25+ ingredients with USDA-sourced density data.
- Wrench & socket size finder — enter a metric size, get the closest SAE match above and below (and vice versa). No more guessing in the garage.
- Mixed unit display — see results as "5 ft 10 in" instead of "70 inches" or "3 lb 6 oz" instead of "54 oz"
- Decimal precision control — set 0 to 10 decimal places in Settings
