NoteBlob is a free and opensource markdown note editor for ios and macos backed by git. No proprietary formats, no complex versioning ; just a clean git client built for note taking and AI integration. ## WHY ANOTHER NOTE APP? Notes can be confidential and personal, yet note editors usually rely on opaque technologies and, at some point, a payment system. Notes should be easy to edit, versioned, independent of any company, exportable, and confidential. Moreover, in the age of AI, your notes should be model-readable and ready to process. NoteBlob fixes that by relying on something other than itself: at its core, it uses Git and Markdown, the most universal, well-known technologies for editing and backing up data. Awesome app. I have used vimwiki for years, so this allows setup to view the folder of notes I already have. However, I do ask for one thing. Could you add the ability for one to colorize the app a little bit more? Even being able to change the accent color of everything would be cool. But I would like to be able to edit a theme; for example set colors for H1, H2, etc., bold, italic, inline code blocks (just a different color, doesn’t have to be syntax highlighted) and so on. It would also be nice if code blocks could have syntax highlighting.
