NoteBlob is a free and opensource markdown note editor for ios and macos backed by git. No proprietary formats, no complex versioning ; just a clean git client built for note taking and AI integration. ## WHY ANOTHER NOTE APP? Notes can be confidential and personal, yet note editors usually rely on opaque technologies and, at some point, a payment system. Notes should be easy to edit, versioned, independent of any company, exportable, and confidential. Moreover, in the age of AI, your notes should be model-readable and ready to process. NoteBlob fixes that by relying on something other than itself: at its core, it uses Git and Markdown, the most universal, well-known technologies for editing and backing up data. NoteBlob is simply an interface that makes the experience more user-friendly and iOS-compatible. It provides no custom mechanism or technology, the source of truth remains your Markdown files and your Git repository. Tired of it? Just delete the app; your notes stay in your Git repo as plain Markdown files. ## FEATURES - Markdown editor with a powerful live preview and a fast native editor - GitHub sync a straightforward commit, push, and merge workflow - Full-text search across all your notes / folders - Plugins enhance user experience by importing JS modules. -- Mermaid -- Syntax highlighting And more

Awesome app. I have used vimwiki for years, so this allows setup to view the folder of notes I already have. However, I do ask for one thing. Could you add the ability for one to colorize the app a little bit more? Even being able to change the accent color of everything would be cool. But I would like to be able to edit a theme; for example set colors for H1, H2, etc., bold, italic, inline code blocks (just a different color, doesn’t have to be syntax highlighted) and so on. It would also be nice if code blocks could have syntax highlighting.-- EDIT --The bold text formatting option isn't applied to bold text no matter whether or not it is ** or __. Also, the plugin that provides syntax highlighting for code blocks doesn't seem to work. It also makes the background of the block white. Could you add an option to theme that as well? Thanks
