Thanks for testing

Fixed a bug where fresh bottle spots could show as "Out of stock" by mistake — the Hunt now only shows that when it's real.

Fixed a rare crash on the Bottles Near Me screen and improved how location handling works when GPS is slow or unavailable. Smoother, more reliable.

Rebuilt bottle search. Buffalo Trace, Woodford Double Oaked, Weller 12 — the bottle you're searching for now ranks first. Faster, sharper, more accurate across every search in the app.

Bottles Near Me now sorts by Newest, Closest, Allocation, or Price — and Price shows what stores are actually charging, so you can spot a good deal (or a gouge). Plus the monthly raffle is live, and a bunch of Hunt polish.

Under-the-hood improvements to keep things fast and reliable. We're cooking on some bigger things — stay tuned.

Stability and behind-the-scenes improvements. If you're logging tastings, keep an eye on the flavor tags saving correctly and your Flavor Profile updating. Report anything that feels off.

Introducing Tonight's Pour — open the app and My Bar now suggests one bottle from your collection to enjoy tonight, with a reason worth pouring it. A daily nudge to actually drink the good stuff you've been saving.

Your tasting vocabulary just grew — brown sugar and marshmallow are in, and notes like smoke, chocolate, and grain now count toward your Flavor Profile instead of slipping through. You can also back out of a tasting anytime without saving it.

Bar Scan is now free to try — 5 scans on the house. Plus a clearer look at what Palate Pro includes.

New: Hunt notifications — get alerted when a bottle on your hunt list is spotted near you. Fixed: adding more of a bottle you've already opened no longer marks all of them open. Fixed: "First in" badges now show the correct region for each spot.

Performance and stability improvements

Stability improvements. This release fixes rare crashes that could happen when quickly navigating away from a screen while it was still loading — affecting My Palate, bottle detail, collection stats, and a few others. What to Test: Open My Palate, bottle detail, and collection stats, and navigate around normally — confirm everything loads and nothing crashes.

Fixed bottle photo scanning — it had stopped recognizing bottles due to a retired AI model dependency, now restored, plus behind-the-scenes resilience so it can't silently break again. Added new bottles to the database (Green River Honey, Penelope Architects of Golf Holes 1–3, plus Knob Creek Blenders' 01, Kentucky Rambler, JD Single Barrel Rye, Penelope Riviera).
