R2Explorer now checks every connection at once. The new Cost & Catalog Monitor sweeps the connections you switch Monitor on for, shows month-to-date spend and Data Catalog state side by side, and stamps each reading with when it was taken. Nothing refreshes on a timer, so you are never billed for an analytics query you did not ask for, and a reading that has aged is marked stale instead of passing as current. Pro adds month-end projection against your budget, catalog maintenance grading, and a copyable report. Also in this release: • Connection Doctor: a per-connection diagnostic that does more than name a problem. Each check can now point you at the exact Cloudflare page or setting that fixes it, across your API token, S3 keys, Data Catalog, analytics, endpoint and iCloud sync • Your connections list syncs across your Macs over iCloud, with its own Settings toggle separate from iCloud Keychain credential sync. Local wrangler connections stay on the device they were made on • The connection budget badge in the sidebar drops out of red once its reading goes stale, and its tooltip now says when the figure was taken, so an old projection can no longer sit there looking current • A stale month-to-date figure in the bucket list refreshes on demand, instead of holding whatever the first visit of the session found

R2Explorer now tells you what your storage costs. The new Cost & Budget Inspector reads your Cloudflare analytics and breaks month-to-date spend down per bucket, for free. Pro adds a projected month-end total, a monthly budget you can set per connection, and a badge on that connection when the projection runs past it. Also in this release: • Every bucket row carries its own month-to-date cost, and the bucket list can now sort by name, by cost, or by the order your provider returned • R2 SQL: the Data Catalog workbench generates ready-to-run queries for any table in your catalog, from SHOW TABLES to a sampled SELECT and its EXPLAIN plan • AWS IAM Identity Center: profiles that sign in through SSO, or that use credential_process, now come with the exact commands to refresh them instead of a dead end • Cost for S3, local, and under-scoped R2 connections falls back to a measured bucket scan you opt into per run, and the priced breakdown exports as Markdown, CSV, or TSV

R2Explorer now guards your R2 Data Catalog buckets. Changing objects outside the catalog can corrupt your Iceberg tables, so R2Explorer warns you before a delete, Empty Bucket, rename, upload, or sync into a Data Catalog bucket, then lets you open the catalog, copy the details, or proceed. It never blocks you. Also in this release: • Read-only query tokens: token guidance now separates a read-only query token (for DuckDB, PyIceberg, and R2 SQL) from a read-write maintenance token, matching Cloudflare's new read-only Data Catalog tokens • S3 connections can sign requests with temporary STS session tokens, so a connection imported from an ~/.aws profile with short-lived credentials just works

R2Explorer 1.4 opens up your R2 Data Catalog. Inspect catalog status, namespaces, and tables for free, then use the Pro Maintenance Workbench to grade your catalog against the maintenance Cloudflare expects (compaction, snapshot expiration, and the token they need) and generate the exact wrangler commands to close each gap. Also in this release: • Empty Bucket clears every object in a bucket without deleting the bucket • Test Connection now reports one row per credential plane instead of a single pass/fail, so a token that is valid but missing R2 scope reads differently from one that is simply wrong • Import a connection straight from a named ~/.aws profile • Export benchmark results as Markdown, CSV, or TSV • The Pro price now always shows in your own storefront's currency

R2Explorer 1.3.2 adds support for local wrangler dev projects. Point the app at a Wrangler project folder and browse, upload, rename, and delete its R2 objects directly on disk — no deploy, no network, no credentials. R2Explorer reads and writes Miniflare's on-disk format, so your changes show up the next time you run wrangler dev. Just stop the dev server before writing, so the app and Miniflare don't use the local database at the same time.

R2Explorer 1.3.1 is a stability and reliability release. Large file downloads now stream straight to disk instead of buffering in memory, the custom Downloads folder persists across launches, Keychain write failures during connection setup are surfaced as proper errors, and cancelling a sync's planning phase reliably returns the bucket to idle. Plus better diagnostic logging across the R2 management API and the file preview pane.

R2Explorer 1.2.2 adds smart rename for files and folders. Right-click any object to rename it, folders are renamed safely via parallel copy-then-delete with live progress, a typed confirmation for large jobs, and one-click rollback of any partial copies if something goes wrong.

R2Explorer 1.2 adds a Bucket Benchmark tool that measures upload, download, TTFB, and list performance across multiple file sizes and reports latency percentiles and throughput in a single dashboard.

R2Explorer 1.1 introduces Bucket Mirror & Sync for copying files between connections with live byte-level progress and reliable cancel, much faster parallel deletions with configurable concurrency (1–16), a new progress modal for folder and multi-select deletes, and a ⌘R shortcut to refresh the file view. This release also improves download and sync progress accuracy and includes several stability and security fixes.
