Mac
WWIJD builds a private timeline of what you were doing on your Mac, with local OCR and optional AI summaries using an OpenAI key stored in Keychain.
WWIJD helps you recover recent context on your Mac by keeping a lightweight timeline of what you were doing.
If you get interrupted, lose your train of thought, or come back to your desk and need to retrace your steps, WWIJD gives you a fast way to look back.
WWIJD runs from your menu bar and can capture your primary display or all active displays at an interval you control, extract text locally with OCR, and organize each moment into a simple timeline. You can also save manual "Remember This" moments with an optional note when something is especially worth keeping.
Features:
- Local-first memory timeline for recent activity
- Primary-display or all-display capture modes
- On-device OCR for searchable screen text
- Manual memory captures with optional notes
- Adjustable capture interval and retention settings
- Optional AI summaries when you add your own OpenAI API key
- Secure OpenAI API key storage in the native macOS Keychain
- Native menu bar workflow for quick access throughout the day
WWIJD is built for people who context-switch often and want a simple, privacy-conscious way to remember what they were just doing.
