Thank you for writing to us — we read every message. This update grew out of them. • Your audiobook is noticeably faster to prepare, and the progress bar runs all the way. • Voice notes no longer get stuck: if a transcription drops, the app finishes it on its own — and if it truly fails, it says so instead of spinning forever. • One broken entry can't freeze syncing anymore — everything else gets through. • Less waiting between turns in a conversation. • A new icon. In your book, "Missing material" is now "Tell me more" — clearer about what it's for.

• No wall while getting started: personal questions stay free until you've seen your first chapter. • Your first chapter won't get lost: if it fails, we try again. And it finally writes in Japanese, Chinese and Thai. • Straight to your diary after setup, no import window. Plus a fixed subscription screen: prices no longer stick as a dash, and Face ID no longer covers the payment sheet.

Now you can just talk to your diary. • A live voice conversation. Tap "Voice conversation" — your diary asks a question out loud, you answer with your voice, and it picks up the thread with barely a pause: no more record, wait, read. The whole conversation is saved into the entry, both as audio and as text. Pick the voice for questions in Profile, right next to Language. • The first chapter no longer gets stuck. For some people the book could stay empty forever — now it retries on its own, and if something fails, the app tells you instead of going quiet. • The time in your book is your time. Dates and hours in chapters and in the PDF export come from your time zone, not the server's — morning stops turning into the middle of the night. • Entries actually arrive. We fixed a stuck upload queue, so your diary, photos, and voice notes sync instead of piling up for weeks. Language switches apply right away, and notes from photos come back in your diary's language. Plus a brand-new welcome for anyone opening 30K for the first time.

Your diary starts the conversation. • Not sure where to begin? Tap "Ask me" — the app gives you a real question, by text or voice, to help you get going. A fresh one every time. • Photos from anywhere. The photo button now lets you pick the source right away: camera, selfie, gallery, or screenshots. • A clearer book. See what material it's still missing and what's newly appeared — and it builds out the structure on its own, without extra taps. Thanks for keeping your diary with 30K. If something's off, drop us a line.

Reminders got smarter and warmer. • Real invitations instead of "Day N." Morning and evening, a genuine nudge to sit down with your diary — fresh every time. • Reminders that fit your rhythm. The book gently brings up a topic you haven't explored yet and points you to a new chapter — more often when you're writing, softer when you've gone quiet. • Cleaner Contents. A chapter the book just wrote or rewrote is marked with a soft blue dot — and it fades the moment you open it. Thanks for keeping your diary with 30K. If something's off, drop us a line.

It's easier to start an entry now — and you can watch your book grow. • Prompts right at hand. Tap "+" and swipe through a carousel of personal questions — answer the one that catches you, or start from scratch. A dot on "+" lights up when fresh ones arrive. • "Updated" badge on chapters. In the Contents, see at a glance which chapter the book just wrote or rewrote. • Sync no longer stalls. After a pause, your entries make their way across devices on their own. You can now listen to your book in 30K — and answer it out loud. • Audiobook from your diary. Your entries come together into a book, and its chapters are read aloud in a real voice. Tap "Listen to the book" and play it like a series, right from your diary. The player remembers where you left off. • Voice interview. The app asks you questions out loud, and you answer by voice — no typing. Some mornings the book sends a question to round out a chapter. Pick the narrator's voice you like. • Make the book yours. In Profile → Book, set how it reads: the point of view (I / he-she / by name), the tone, your hero's name and gender, the title, characters, and places. • Export. Save your diary and book as PDF or Markdown — in your language. • Your first chapter, sooner. Watch the chapter being written right in the feed — it appears as soon as there's enough to tell. We also rebuilt the new-entry and voice-recording screens, added recording sounds, sped up launch, and fixed the small stuff. Thanks for keeping your diary with 30K. Record voice notes with the app minimized. We've refreshed background recording: the indicator now appears on the Lock Screen and in the Live Activity (Dynamic Island), and you can stop recording right from there — your snippet drops straight into your diary. We also fixed the feed on the home screen — it no longer drifts sideways after a new entry or when you jump in from the table of contents. Thanks for keeping your diary with 30K.
