SafePlate 1.3.1 — Smarter label reading, clearer answers. IMPROVED SCANNING • "May contain" statements are handled more carefully — explicit ingredient declarations are always shown as such, even when advisory wording appears elsewhere on the label. • Labels in languages SafePlate can't read yet now say so clearly, instead of appearing clear. • Custom allergens now skip documented-safe contexts (e.g. a custom "milk" entry no longer flags almond milk). • SafePlate now recognizes many more ingredient names, including E-number sulfites (E220–E228), albumen, panko, satay, and compound foods like pesto and frangipane across all their typical ingredients. PLATE INTEL • Items the camera isn't sure about are now marked "Verify" instead of appearing clear. • Result cards tell you when AI read the label from your photo, so you always know where the information came from. CLEARER RESULTS • Unreadable label photos now explain what went wrong and how to retake the shot.
