Complete revamp of the radar viewer (reached by tapping the Radar card’s map): - Consolidated the interactive map and the animated map. - It’s now possible to pan and zoom during animation. - Added the ability to toggle off the radar overlay so the basemap detail can be seen (eye button in upper right - tap to toggle radar on/off or press and hold to hide until release) - Added some workarounds for occasional blank data tiles served by the data source (RainViewer), but these workarounds don’t work in all cases. Blank tiles that persist are because RainViewer itself is missing the local radar data for a large region and/or multiple timepoints. - Note: The RainViewer data source limits the number of radar image requests on a per-minute and per-IP address basis, so if multiple devices on the same WiFi network are using the radar map at the same time, that limit may be reached, resulting in unloaded tiles. The app should self-recover after a brief delay. Please contact the developer if you experience this more than on the very rare occasion. Added the ability to adjust a location’s coordinates using a map (in the Edit Location sheet, touch “Pick on Map”).

National Weather Service alert improvements, including the ability to reorder the position of alerts in relation to the other cards (drag and drop in Settings). Improvements to location management. Aurora and moon distances now use the preferred units. And of course miscellaneous bug fixes and UI improvements.

New in this version: • Optional humidity readout on the Hourly and Forecast Graph cards — toggle it in Settings. • Aurora forecast improvements: clearer viewing-quality call-outs on high-likelihood nights, new location-specific details, and more accurate timing. • Fixed a bug where widgets could stay blank after granting location permission on a fresh install. This version adds a new Celestial Events card that shows upcoming meteor showers, eclipses, supermoons, and more, including predicted current and forecasted aurora events (predictions for currently active events are global, but forecasted events are primarily for North America, Greenland, and Iceland). Also: - The header now shows the selected location's local time alongside current conditions. - Adjusted the algorithm that determines daily average conditions (sunny, cloudy, rainy, etc.) to bias daytime hours and inclement weather. And of course, various interface refinements and bug fixes.
