Gridlock is a turn-based territory game where you battle a CPU opponent for control of a grid — one move at a time. Tap empty cells to claim them. Build clusters to grow your power. Attack enemy cells by draining your own. And when you're strong enough, lock your cells down permanently — earning bonus moves, boosting your neighbors, and scoring triple territory. HOW TO PLAY • Claim neutral cells to plant your flag — each one costs a move from your pool • Cells placed next to allies start stronger and boost their neighbors • Attack enemy cells when your surrounding power is high enough — but it drains your adjacent cells to pay the cost • Lock cells at 5 pips to make them permanent — locked cells keep their power, score 3× territory, boost neighbors every turn, and earn you 3 bonus moves • You and the CPU alternate moves one-for-one — watch what it does and plan your counter FEATURES • Escalating difficulty across 5 tiers — from beginner 4×4 grids to expert 6×6 boards with tight timers • Move pool economy — every action costs a move, and locking is the only way to earn more • Generator pulse — locked cells radiate power to their neighbors on every lock • Interactive tutorial that teaches all mechanics in 5 guided steps • Move log showing every action in real time • Auto-advancing rounds with score breakdowns Built for quick sessions and deep strategy.
