Project a six-character code, students join from any phone browser, and you watch the room fill in live. Five question types, auto-grading and a question bank built in.
Room Quiz is a test creator and live quiz app for teachers, lecturers and trainers. Build a multiple choice exam in minutes, project a six-character room code, and watch your class join and answer on their own phones — no app install for your students, no accounts to hand out.
RUN A QUIZ IN THREE STEPS
1. Create a course and build your questions, or import them.
2. Open the room. Room Quiz puts a six-character code and a QR code on the projector.
3. Students open the link in any phone browser, type the code, and answer. You watch the room fill in live.
A REAL TEST MAKER, NOT A TRIVIA GAME
Five question types, mixable in a single exam:
• Multiple choice, single answer (MCQ)
• Multiple choice, multiple answers
• True / false
• Fill in the blank
• Essay and open-ended constructed questions
EVERYTHING ELSE YOU NEED
• Auto-grading — objective questions are scored the moment a student submits
• Question bank — write a question once, reuse it across exams and courses
• CSV import — bring in a whole exam or question set at once
• AI question extraction — upload a document and Room Quiz drafts questions from it for you to review and edit
• Randomize question order and answer options, so no two students see the same arrangement
• Exam timer
• Live board — see who has joined, who is writing, who has submitted, and what they scored, without refreshing anything
• Results and analytics for every exam
• A shareable score card students can keep
WHO IT IS FOR
University lecturers, school teachers, coaching centres and corporate trainers — anyone who needs an exam maker that works in a real room, with real people, on the phones they already have.
Students never sign up and never install anything. They open a browser, type the code, and they are in.
Room Quiz includes one active course at a time, with unlimited students, every question type, auto-grading, the question bank and the live room.
Make your own quiz in minutes and run it the same hour.
