UI is well laid out, pleasing to the eye, and fairly easy to use. However, it has problems.1. You can’t delete a “cut” if one has been created in error. I thought “add cut” meant to create the one I just entered the specs for. No, this starts the creation of a brand new cut which can’t be deleted and messes up the computation of the cut list. Had to start over with a new “project.”2. The pop-up where you enter the specs for a cut is mostly hidden by the iPad keyboard and you can’t scroll down to enter the next spec unless you hide the keyboard. That’s annoying.3. Why is thickness a spec for a cut? It has no effect on the computation. But there it is so I try to enter the correct thickness. It defaults to 3/4 for some reason and the only way to update it is to carefully place the text insertion point right after “3/4” and backspace (delete). What a PITA for something doesn’t matter. I could just ignore it, but here we are.You get two stars for making it free and not trying to extort payments or place ads over crucial info. A couple tweaks to fix the above issues and I’ll give it 5 stars.
Thank you for your review and feedback! I will try to answer a few questions. For your first question about deleting a cut, I can see how it seems like a cut is not deletable. It is probably a bad UI choice but you are able to swipe left on the cut to open an option to delete the cut.As far as thickness for your cuts, it can matter depending on the thickness of the stock you entered, however it may be better to also allow a simpler option of keeping stock and cuts all of the same thickness (as in thickness doesn't matter). Please keep an eye out for an update in the near future addressing some of the UI issues/concerns.I look forward to hearing your feedback!Keenan
