VoiceKey: Speak to Type Faster
Speak to Type Faster
$2.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
VoiceKey is a voice typing keyboard for iPhone that lets you speak instead of typing so you can write faster in the apps you already use.
Open the VoiceKey keyboard, speak naturally, and your words are turned into text for messages, notes, email, documents, and forms. It is built for people who want faster writing, less thumb typing, and a smoother way to capture ideas on the go.
Why VoiceKey stands out:
- Speak directly into a keyboard designed for dictation
- Write faster across chat, notes, email, and input fields
- Move from voice to text with clear session states
- Switch between multiple dictation languages
- Use the companion app to manage setup and voice sessions
- Built on Apple system capabilities for a clean, privacy-aware experience
VoiceKey is ideal when you want to:
- reply to messages quickly
- capture ideas before they disappear
- write while multitasking
- reduce friction when typing on iPhone
If you want a faster way to write on iPhone, VoiceKey turns your keyboard into a voice-first writing tool.

Fixes the issue where the voice session would silently stop after a few minutes of background use, forcing you to re-open VoiceKey and toggle the session off and on. VoiceKey now keeps the microphone ready in the background for as long as you choose, so you can dictate from any app without interruption.
New: Settings → Voice Session lets you pick how long the session stays ready after your last dictation (Never / 2 hours / 1 hour / 30 minutes / 15 minutes / 5 minutes / Immediately).
