Imprimatone
Color palettes for artists
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Imprimatone is a color palette generator built for people who love color. Generate a palette in seconds, save the ones that speak to you, and come back to them whenever you need inspiration.
Whether you're a painter starting a new study, a designer exploring combinations, or just someone with an eye for color — Imprimatone keeps it simple and gets out of your way.
Generate your way
Choose from four ways to build a palette:
Random — pure chance. Sometimes the best palettes are the ones you'd never think to choose.
Mood — pick a feeling: Warm, Cool, Earthy, Vibrant, Muted, or Pastel. Imprimatone does the rest.
Color Theory — generate palettes grounded in Complementary, Monochrome, Triadic, or Split-Complementary relationships.
Image — pull colors directly from any photo in your library or take one with your camera. The colors that drew you to an image, extracted automatically.
Work the way you think
Palettes can be anywhere from 1 to 12 colors. Add or remove colors on the fly. Lock in the ones you want to keep and regenerate around them — great for when you've found a perfect base and want to explore what works alongside it.
Tap any color to copy its hex code instantly. Open the full-screen preview to sit with a palette before deciding.
Save what you love
Heart a palette to save it. Your saved palettes live in one place, ready to revisit whenever you need them.
This update add the ability to manually reposition colors and and undo button to go back to the previous generation
