I played the OG game for many years. I was playing last week when I saw the add for number 2. So I’m a huge fan. After hours of playing this game I felt frustrated and ready to throw in the towel. There are a few issues I have.1. I read a review talking about the point system, and I agree. I will play a round and hit every single ball “out of the park” just to lose because I don’t get enough points. I’ve refined my buildings to maximize points but still feel you have to get extremely lucky with random points or a totally random 3x or 2x ball. I think it’s challenging which I understand. but sometimes it feels like closing the game is the way more fun than restarting and failing on Step 9 after hitting every single ball out.2. My biggest issue I have is, I’m on stage 18. I was rolling until this stage, the blue slow pitch ball is impossible to hit. Because it comes in so low after the line that when I flick to hit it, my finger grabs my home bar and closes the app. The pitch isn’t complicated or challenging to hit, but it’s impossible with how low it is. I close my phone every time so I can’t continue. It just needs to be adjusted to come in slightly higher. But other than that, it’s fun. I like the idea of buildings, I like the upgrades. The ideas are great. Although I have these issues I’ll continue to play it. Just some minor tweaking is all.
In fact, the fact that you have reached a point where clearing a stage is difficult even after hitting home runs in Flick Home Run 2 means that you have reached the extreme limit of a stage that is difficult for skilled players like you to reach with your current power—a stage that originally required a higher-power bat to clear. This ultimately means you have reached the limit stage achievable with your current power, and that you truly need higher power now. However, we are also seriously considering the feedback that this is inconvenient. We are deeply considering changing the focus of the next game from a "clearing" concept to a "setting maximum records" system. We envision the main content becoming a system where players challenge higher records while upgrading their power... We are truly grateful to the users who genuinely enjoy our game, and I will continue to monitor the situation and constantly deliberate on this matter.Regarding the blue slowball at stage 18 that you mentioned, in my case, the pitcher's motion differs slightly depending on the pitch type... So, by observing the pitcher's motion, I can predict when a fastball will drop sharply, so I place my finger on the screen in advance where the ball will land and wait. Then, when the ball comes, I hit it. If you try to hit the ball hastily while your finger is off the screen, you often end up flicking from the edge of the screen, which makes it easy for the ball to go out of bounds just as you mentioned. If you predict the ball's trajectory in advance, wait with your finger on the screen in a stable spot that doesn't touch the bezel, and then flick, you can significantly reduce the occurrence you described. Regarding hitting direction, for low balls, I personally tend to push the ball sideways rather than hitting it upwards whenever possible. However, I will seriously consider this inconvenience further. I will deliberate on various ideas, such as whether to strengthen the hitting tutorial or to modify the ball's trajectory itself as you suggested. If you have any better ideas, please contact me at infinitypocket@gmail.com, and I will give them deeper consideration.
