Timeline-O-Tron lets you build beautiful, interactive timelines on the Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Whether you're tracking the Apollo missions, mapping out the Beatles discography, or charting the rise and fall of empires, every event gets the detail it deserves.
CREATE WITH PRECISION
Add events with year, specific date, description, notes, color, and tags. BCE dates are fully supported — the Great Pyramid (2560 BCE) and the Moon landing (1969 CE) can coexist on the same timeline, rendered correctly and proportionally.
VISUALIZE YOUR STORY
Your timeline draws itself on a scrollable, zoomable canvas. Zoom from 0.1× to 200× and watch month markers appear, then days. Events stack intelligently above and below the axis so nothing overlaps. Animated transitions keep everything smooth.
ORGANIZE AND FILTER
Ten colors. Unlimited tags. Filter by either one, search by text. Color-code eras, categories, or themes — then toggle any of them on or off to focus on what matters. Sort by year or alphabetically.
MEASURE AND ANALYZE
Tap two events and instantly see the time between them — down to the day. Add notes to any event or to the timeline itself.
GENERATE WITH AI
