A NEW SCHEDULE The Schedule tab has been rebuilt around the way fans actually think about a season — not as a list of fixtures, but as gamedays. It opens on a week strip where every day is present whether or not there's hockey on, with your club's days marked in its own colours, and the games below grouped into a sheet per day. Your club's next game sits pinned above it all: the countdown to face-off, the rink, and tickets or the stream in one tap. Once the puck drops it becomes the live score, and after the horn it's the result — so the one game you came for is always the first thing you see. Every game on the list now says where it's being played as well as when, and both clubs carry a five-game form guide. RIGHT DAY, WHEREVER YOU ARE Schedule now anchors "today" to UK time. Following from another time zone no longer marks the wrong day's games as tonight's. YOU DECIDE WHAT'S NEXT There's a new feature board in Settings. Vote on the ideas we're weighing up, send us your own, and watch what gets built — ideas that ship stay on the board marked as shipped, so you can see what your votes turned into. A NEW HOME SCREEN Home now leads with your club. Their next face-off, the live score while they're playing, or the final result and who scored once the game's done - then rows of news, signings and league leaders underneath. Out of season it fills with summer signings and league news instead of an empty schedule. A PROPER VIDEOS FEED The Latest tab's videos have been rebuilt with big thumbnails, club crests and how fresh each clip is, plus filter chips to jump straight to your club. SOLWAY NAMED AND BADGED AGAIN Solway IHC now show their club name and current crest in the NIHL standings, instead of an unnamed row you couldn't tap through. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Scrolling the full season on the Schedule tab is noticeably smoother, especially on older phones • Your notification settings now name every club and league you follow, not just the one you're browsing • Settings links straight to @eliteice_app on Instagram • We'll ask you to rate Elite Ice at most a few times a year, rather than after every update Plus a batch of behind-the-scenes fixes: standings that can no longer lag a day behind the schedule, club crests that come back after the phone clears its image cache, and steadier push notifications.

Know the matchup before puck drop Upcoming game pages now open with a tale of the tape: recent form for both sides, each power play measured against the other's penalty kill, goals for and against per game, and the players to watch. Out of season it names last season's leading scorers, clearly marked as such. The playoff race, at a glance The standings now draw the playoff line, so you can see who's in and who's chasing without counting rows. Your team's row adds a plain-English summary: points clear of the cut, games in hand, and what it takes to clinch. Your gameday brief One morning rundown of what's on — your team's game, or every game in the league. Your call, in Notifications. Works without signal Standings, schedule, team pages and stats now load from saved data when you're offline, so a cold start in the rink car park shows you last night's tables instead of a spinner. Saved content is clearly marked so it never reads as live. Also in this release - Ticket, stream, news and video links now open properly on devices where they previously did nothing - Fixed a crash that could close the app when the rating prompt appeared as you switched away - The news feed is back in order, newest first

Season 2026/27 is coming — our biggest update yet. BROWSE PAST SEASONS Pick a season and the whole app follows it — home, standings, schedule, stats and the cup bracket all rewind together. A FASTER SCHEDULE • Tap the star to filter instantly to your favourite team's games • The current game day stays pinned to the top as you scroll • A live countdown to puck drop on games within the next day • Roomier filters next to the league switcher DEEPER STATS • Player career tables now total games, goals, assists and points across every season • Goalie pages add saves, shots faced and minutes played alongside GAA and save % • Search the stats leaders by player or team — rankings stay true while you filter • Team pages show the last five results as win/loss medallions • Standings show each team's current win or loss streak SMARTER GAME PAGES • Plain-English head-to-head recaps on every game, plus a recent-results roundup on home • The scoreboard tucks into a slim bar as you scroll, leaving more room for stats • The Goaltenders table now marks the winning goalie CLUBS & TICKETS • Club crests refreshed to the latest designs • Away games now show a Tickets link to the host club's box office • Glasgow Clan's Watch Live points to their new stream, and now shows in club purple POLISH • Clearer Rink Map — picking a rink no longer hides the others • Games, results and standings now read out properly with VoiceOver

Goal alerts are here! Get a push the moment your team scores or concedes — complete with the live scoreline and who potted it. Watch live — every club's stream service is now one tap away from the game, schedule, team, and rink map. The Elite League is now the Motorpoint Elite League (MEL) — you'll see the new name across the app. Manchester Storm tickets now open on Ticketmaster, and their home games show the AO Arena. Solway is now shown as Solway IHC, matching the club's new name for 2026/27. Thanks for using Elite Ice — enjoy the season!

RINK MAP • Every arena in the league on one map of the UK — tap a rink for directions, tickets, and the team page. • The map comes alive on gameday: live rinks pulse red, and every arena card shows the next home game. • Planning an away day? Pick a rink to see the miles from your team's arena, with the route arced across the UK. • Tap the venue name on any game page to jump straight to that rink on the map. GAME PAGES • New goal timeline — see the scoring unfold, who led when, and tap any goal for the full story. SCHEDULE • New calendar view — team-coloured dots mark every game day; tap one for that day's games. POLISH • Screens now load with smooth placeholder previews instead of spinners, so the app feels faster everywhere. • Stats leaders get a podium look — gold, silver, and bronze badges for the top three in every category. • The transfers feed is reorganised into day-by-day cards, with full club names on every signing. • Calmer live-game cards, an easier-to-read Live Now scoreboard, friendlier empty screens, a refreshed welcome tour and Settings, and the Elite Ice wordmark on Home.

NIHL notifications are now fully supported — transfer alerts, game reminders, and news now work for your NIHL favourite team, not just EIHL. Follow a team in each league and you'll get alerts for both — switching leagues no longer silences the other. Also in this update: - Alert settings now recognise your favourite team whichever league it's in - Setting a favourite from a team page always saves to the correct league - Player stat pages now show the correct season heading - Game countdowns and Today/Tomorrow labels now show UK time correctly wherever you are

The home screen now reads the season for you. During the off-season it switches to a recap look: latest transfers, the final standings, and how the season finished, all in one place. When games are on, a new Live Now scoreboard pins every game in progress to the top of home. We've also given game pages a big refresh: • Live Now scoreboard, every game in progress at a glance, right at the top of home • Scoreboard grid, period scores now show as a classic grid with each period highlighted • Cleaner game header, solid team colours, larger crests, and a sharper scoreline • Goal badges, power play, short-handed, and empty net goals are now flagged in the scoring summary • Team stats, redesigned with comparison bars in team colours, so you can see who dominated • Penalties, now lead with the infraction and show a severity badge for 2, 5, and 10 minute calls Plus NIHL National improvements: • Schedule and results now show the rink each game is played at • Game and player pages no longer show plus-minus or save % stats the league doesn't publish Smaller touches: the Upcoming / Results / All schedule tabs stay tidy at larger text sizes.

Dark mode now follows your system setting across schedule, standings, stats, and off-season screens. Calendar subscribe opens straight into Google Calendar on Android. Onboarding is easier to skip, and the notifications step now scrolls on smaller phones. The Transfers feed is more reliable, with fewer dropouts when fetching the latest moves. Plus a sweep of proper hockey wording throughout, "face-off" instead of "kickoff".
