Bug fixes and improvements: - Fixed a bug where the pre-dawn reminder wasn’t canceled when you counted from the iPhone app (it was only canceled when tapping “I Counted” directly from the notification. (Thank you to Joelle for finding the bug!) - The Watch app now instantly reflects counts recorded on your iPhone — whether you count from the app, a widget tap, or a notification action.

SefirahWatch 2.0 is a major update built entirely around feedback from our community. Count tracking is now on by default. The “I Counted” button appears each night after nightfall, and a confirmation stays visible all day long, so you will always see that you counted, even hours after the fact. Users now get help adding the widget. The first time you count, the app walks you through adding the SefirahWatch widget to your home screen, so your daily count is always visible at a glance. Flexible notification timing. You can now choose when to be reminded relative to nightfall, anywhere from 30 minutes before to 60 minutes after. Count when it works for you. Share your count. Tap Share after counting to send a beautifully designed card showing your day and the Hebrew count, great for sharing with friends and family! Optional Kabbalistic prayers. Turn on אנא בכח and רבונו של עולם in Settings to append these traditional post-counting prayers after לַמְנַצֵּחַ. The רבונו של עולם is personalized with each day’s specific sefirah. Count Tracking (optional) - Turn on “Track my daily count” in Settings to unlock a new “I Counted” button that appears each night after nightfall. Tap it to record your count — your history stays private on your device. - Confirm directly from the nightly notification — no need to open the app - A last-chance reminder fires before daybreak if you haven’t counted yet - Apple Watch: tap “I Counted” in the app with haptic confirmation - Widgets show a "Time to Count" prompt after Tzeis HaKochavim (nightfall) - Share that you counted via the iOS share sheet

Nightly reminders: opt in to receive a notification at the exact moment of nightfall each evening. Shabbat suppression available. Added the Hinneni Muchan declaration (Ashkenaz) before the blessing (thanks, Joelle!). Prayer text is now right-aligned for a more natural reading experience.
