Print children's check-in labels directly from your Mac — no AirPrint required. GraceGate Check-In Print Tool is a lightweight menu bar helper that pairs with the GraceGate Check-In iPad kiosk. When a child checks in, labels print automatically on any connected label printer, including Dymo label printers. RELIABLE PRINTING AirPrint can drop connections, miss jobs, or require manual intervention. The Print Tool runs quietly in the background, polling for new jobs every few seconds so labels print the moment a family checks in — even if the iPad and Mac are on different network segments. TWO LABELS PER CHECK-IN Each check-in produces two labels: a name tag for the child (with classroom, emergency contact, and allergy alert) and a parent pickup ticket with a matching security code. Families with multiple children receive a single pickup ticket listing all their kids — no extra slips, no confusion at pickup. EASY SETUP 1. Install the Print Tool on your check-in desk Mac. 2. Open Setup and enter the 6-character pairing code from your GraceGate iPad. 3. Select your printer and label size. 4. Done — labels print from that point on, even after a Mac restart. LABEL PRESETS FOR DYMO Built-in presets for popular Dymo label sizes: Multi-Purpose 30336, Address 30252, Medium 30334, Large Address 30321, and Shipping 30256. A live preview updates instantly as you adjust size, rotation, and fine-tune position — so you can dial in the layout before Sunday. RUNS IN THE BACKGROUND The Print Tool lives in your Mac menu bar with a single-glance status indicator. It launches automatically at login (you can disable this anytime) and never gets in the way.
