New in 1.5.0 • A new More tab brings your saved places, day plans, local deals and settings together. • Saved now shows your day plans and places side by side. Tap the heart at the top of Today to get there. • Tonight's Sky tells you when it will be dark enough for stars — it knows when the moon rises and sets — and flags nights when the northern lights are likely. • Today follows the clock. At night it shows picks for tomorrow, ideas for dinner and drinks, and what's on in the days ahead. • Don't like a stop in your day plan? Swap it for a nearby alternative with one tap. • Places closed for the season are no longer suggested. • Consistent back buttons, clearer cards and many smaller fixes.

Door County closes for the winter, and now the app knows it. • Seasonal places — lighthouses, the golf course, the island farms and galleries — now say "Closed for the season" with the month they reopen, instead of showing summer hours all winter. No more driving to the tip of the peninsula for a door that has been locked since October. • The Today screen is tidier: the weather line tells you what the day is good for rather than repeating the temperature, and tonight's stargazing conditions now appear near the top on the nights they are worth reading.

Small fixes to how Explore sorts and filters. • Explore now leads with the places people actually visit most, right after our featured picks — so the popular spots are easier to find. • "Open now" no longer lists hotels and inns that were showing up regardless of the actual time, just because a front desk is always staffed.

Your saved places now do something. Favourites has been rebuilt around the way people actually use it. It tells you which of your saved places are near you right now, groups them by town so you can see where a day makes sense, and builds a day plan around the ones you picked rather than starting from scratch. Also in this release: • Your day plan is kept automatically. Build one, close the app, and it is waiting on the Today screen — no save button to remember. • Search finds more. Amenities like wifi are searchable now, and "pet friendly" finds the same places as "dog friendly".

Fixes for things that were quietly wrong in 1.2.0. • The night sky card now appears all night. It used to hand back to the sunset card after midnight, so anyone checking at 1am was told when the sun set instead of what the sky was doing. • Events that run for weeks — the farmers market, the summer theatre season — now show on Today while they are actually on. They were being hidden because they started before today. • Events without their own photo no longer show as an empty tile. • "Still serving tonight" now lists places by how soon they close, with the closing time, instead of repeating what Near You already showed.

A bigger update than usual — the Today screen now changes with the day. After sunset, the sunset card becomes a night sky card: how dark it is tonight, what the moon is doing, whether the northern lights have any chance of showing, and where to go to actually see them. Also new: • Open Now — where you can still get dinner, based on the real hour • Rainy day picks — somewhere worth going when the weather turns • Rebuilt day planner — it asks which meals you want and builds the day around them, instead of guessing from the clock • Event reminders — get a notification the morning of an event you saved • Better search — multi-word and plural searches now find things • A "Your data" screen where you can delete everything this app stored Plus a fix for a crash some people hit on older iPhones when opening places with large photos.

Search now finds places typed with an apostrophe — "Bailey's Harbor" and "Al Johnson's" work as you'd expect. Sharing the app now includes a download link.

Sunset Spotter: tonight's sunset time, a quality forecast scored from live conditions, and the best west-facing spots to watch from. Plus biking and winter activity guides, more events, and new photos throughout.

• Location now works automatically after you grant permission — no more digging through Settings • "Coffee" now shows real coffee shops only, not every place that happens to serve coffee • Business hours are more accurate, including places with separate lunch and dinner hours • General bug fixes and improvements
