What's New in Bird Hunter 5.1 Birding Statistics - The Life List tab now opens with a full stats panel: species count by year or all time, sightings per calendar month displayed as a bar chart, average confidence, how many notes have photos, location count, and a confidence distribution breakdown (high/medium/low). See your most active birding months at a glance. CSV Export - Tap the export button in the Life List to share all your sightings as a standard CSV file. Each row includes date, species, scientific name, confidence percentage, location, and notes. Open it in Numbers, Excel, or import it into eBird-compatible tools. Interactive Compare - The Compare tab now lets you choose any 2-3 species from the full North American catalog to put side by side. Tap "Choose" to search and select species, then review a full side-by-side panel with length, wingspan, mass, bill shape, wing pattern, tail pattern, habitat, season, behavior, voice, food, migration, and abundance - plus a "Key Differences" panel that automatically highlights only the traits that differ between your selected birds. Delete Sightings - Long-press any sighting card in the Life List to delete it with a confirmation step. Bug fix: Compare tab now persists your chosen species across app launches.

Version 5 adds 1,595 offline checklist records, 136 licensed bird photos, 45 available licensed calls or songs, selected-bird field notes/photos, and a 100 MB-plus offline field pack.
