Nemo comes to the Mac — and iPad gets room to breathe. Nemo is now a native Mac app: your places, categories, and shared maps on the desktop, with a real menu bar and keyboard shortcuts. On iPad in landscape, Nemo now uses a roomy two-pane layout — the map beside a panel for your places, options, and shared maps. As always, everything works on your device with no account required. Sign in only if you want your places kept in sync.

Your places, now on every device. Sign in — it's optional — and Nemo keeps your saved places, categories, and the maps you share and follow in sync across all your devices. Save a spot on one, and it's waiting on the others. Prefer to keep it simple? Nothing changes. Nemo is still local-first: your places always live on your device, and there's no account unless you want one. Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email — with password reset and delete-anytime accounts.

See how many people follow your shared maps — each map you share now shows its follower count. Tap any shared map to fly straight to its places. And when you zoom out, spots from maps you follow now gather into tidy clusters, just like your own. A little polish, too: the whole shared-map row is tappable now, not just the title.

Places from maps you follow now show up in List View too, marked with their link icon — tap one to take a look, get directions, or save your own copy. And when you do save a copy, it takes the followed pin's place — no more doubles; delete your copy and the original returns. Plus a round of polish: tapping the map with a card open now simply dismisses it, search and cards no longer talk over each other, and the top bar holds perfectly still when cards slide up.

New: shared maps that stay current. "Share and keep updated" publishes the places you choose to a permanent link — edit a place, add one, remove one, and everyone with the link sees it. You decide exactly what goes out, place by place, and you can stop sharing anytime. Got a link from a friend? Keep it updated on your own map — their places appear with a little link badge, refresh on their own, and stay clearly theirs. Tap one to look around, get directions, or save your own copy. Also: sharing status at a glance on the map, smarter automatic map names, and plenty of polish throughout.

New: mark places as visited. Check off the spots you've been to — visited pins get a green check, and a new "Hide visited" filter leaves just your to-do list on the map. Also in this update: uncategorized imports now land in "Other" instead of creating duplicates, Export lets you pick KML or GeoJSON, and the iPad editor panel shows reliably. Plus small fixes and polish.
