CAPTURE REAL ANIMALS BY PHOTO
Step outside, spot a creature, and snap a photo. Animalis identifies the real species and adds it to your encyclopedia — from the beetles in the grass to the foxes on your evening walk.
BATTLE, LEVEL UP, GROW
Build a team of six and take on wild animals in turn-based battles. Across 11 animal types, every species has its own strengths, moves, and matchups — train your team, level them up, and grow them into new, stronger forms.
A WORLD BASED ON YOURS
You photograph the real animals around you, so your collection is whatever genuinely lives where you are — a city park, a forest, a beach, and a riverside each turn up different species. Travel somewhere new and so does the wildlife.
CLAIM GYMS, EARN BADGES
Real-world parks are home to Gyms. Beat a gym's defenders to earn its Badge, then leave your own team to hold it — and collect Leaves from every challenger who comes to take it.
BATTLE AND TRADE WITH FRIENDS
Add friends, spot each other on the map, and go head-to-head in player-versus-player battles. Trade animals to round out your collection, and climb the global leaderboard to prove you're the top trainer.
HEAL AT REAL LANDMARKS
Visit a real-world place of worship — church, temple, or mosque — to heal your team for free at a Health Centre. Drop into a real supermarket to find a Shop and stock up on Nets, Potions, and Revives.
BUILD YOUR ENCYCLOPEDIA
Every capture fills your personal encyclopedia with taxonomy, habitat, and conservation status. Earn bonus Leaves for finding endangered species — and a little more awareness of the natural world.

Recent updates have improved the playability which is great. It’s a lot of fun to go to a local park and take some pictures of animals and see their sprites etc. I will say that the animal identification can sometimes be off, and once or twice I ended up with a species not typically found in the area.

Hey, sorry for the issues. You are correct, there have been many, I have now done a lot of work over the last few weeks to upgrade the servers and fix all errors that came up. I hope you try it again, there are many new features and the game has been updated to be playable regardless of where you are.Device transfer is now implemented. Have you experienced any players cheating/spoofing? So far, I have not found any, but have already implemented features to reduce this. I love the concept, but it doesn’t work. Going to green spaces/parks generally means that there is little to no cell phone service. Being able to catch things in urban environments while against the original concept of the game would allow for a larger player base.You can easily spoof animals by taking pictures of pictures of animals. I got a bald eagle that way. This game also makes my phone run hot and the battery depletes faster while playing. I don’t know what is so demanding about it, but it needs to be looked at.

Hey, thanks for the feedback, sorry for the issues. I have now removed capture restrictions! Please try the game again and let me know what you think, you can message me on Reddit in r/Animalis or use the support email.I have also added blocks for people taking pictures of computer screens etc. As well as this, you have to physically go into nature to catch higher level animals. And animals not native to your geographic area are also blocked.I have also improved battery efficiency, by I would guess about 20-30%. Please let me know if you have any feedback! Thanks

This is literally my dream game. I’ve been thinking about an app like this for years! My wife was sick of me talking about how much ive wanted an app like this and now its real! It has a great potential and ill pay whatever it takes to make this app reach it!
