BuyorMeet
Buy & Sell locally, safely.
Free
BuyorMeet is the simpler, safer way to buy and sell locally.
Find deals in your city, or list your own items in seconds — everything with one tap, one feed, and none of the noise. Buy how it suits you: meet locally, reserve with a refundable deposit, or pay online with the money held until you confirm you're happy.
WHY BUYORMEET
• Browse a clean, photo-first feed — swipe reels-style or scroll a familiar grid.
• Choose your protection — Reserve and Buy Now hold the money until you confirm. Plain local meet-ups stay simple, with no payment through the app.
• Reserve with a refundable deposit, then meet up and pay the balance in person.
• Buy Now holds your full payment and releases it to the seller seven days after you confirm delivery.
• Chat directly with sellers (or buyers) in the built-in messaging.
• Report listings or users you think violate our rules. Block anyone, anytime.
FOR SELLERS
• List in under 60 seconds — snap photos, name your price, pick pickup or shipping.
• Connect a bank account once and get paid automatically when items sell.
• 8% fee on completed Buy Now sales, charged on the item price plus postage. Nothing on local meet-ups, and no listing fees.
• Dashboard with earnings, active listings, and buyer messages in one place.
HOW THE PROTECTED OPTIONS WORK
Buy Now: we charge the buyer at purchase, hold the money, and release it to the seller seven days after the buyer confirms delivery. If something's wrong, the buyer can open a dispute and the funds stay frozen until it's resolved.
Reserve: the buyer pays a deposit (10% of the price, with a minimum of 5 and a cap of 500 in the listing’s own currency), meets the seller in person, and the deposit is refunded to their card on a successful handover. The balance is paid directly to the seller at the meetup, and BuyorMeet takes no fee on it.
Prefer to keep it simple? Most listings are plain local meet-ups — arrange it in chat and settle up between yourselves.
LOCAL + NATIONAL
BuyorMeet is live in cities across the U.S. and Canada, with dedicated marketplace pages for more than 1,000 cities. Find deals in your neighborhood or ship items anywhere.
SAFETY FIRST
• Reserve and Buy Now transactions are tracked end to end, with a dispute process and our support team behind them.
• Users can block and report other members at any time.
• We recommend meeting in public places, inspecting items before exchanging money, and never sharing login info with anyone claiming to be "support."
Download BuyorMeet, list your first item, or find your next find. Local commerce, done right.

Fixes: listing pages no longer drift sideways while you scroll · a shared link now opens once instead of reopening a listing later · notification registration was failing silently and has been repaired
