Folded, the Speed screen fits the cover display: the gauge sizes itself to stay clear of the speed-limit sign, three-digit speeds keep their distance from it too, and your Live Activity shows the full speed in the Dynamic Island instead of cutting it off. Unfolded, the Speed screen fits the inner display, and when space runs short your trip stats tuck behind "Show trip details". Either way, Velocita keeps your place when you fold or unfold. This is our first release for iPhone Duo. If anything looks off folded or unfolded, let us know from Settings → Send Feedback. Also in this release: layout refinements throughout the app, including at larger text sizes, and speed-limit data downloads that recover better from interruptions and explain failures more clearly.

HUD mode now tells you how to get out. HUD mode mirrors the speed so it reads correctly reflected in your windshield — which also mirrored the "tap to exit" hint, so anyone who opened it by accident found the way out written backwards. Now, the first few times you open HUD mode, a right-way-round note reads "HUD mode — tap anywhere to exit" before the mirrored display takes over. A small HUD label stays in the corner so the mode always names itself, the exit hint at the bottom is brighter, and a one-time tip on the windshield button explains the mode before you ever open it.

Auto-record trips gets a screen of its own — and three upgrades. More than driving. Auto-record now recognizes rides as well as drives, so a bike trip is saved without you touching anything. Walking and running never start a recording, so a lap of the supermarket stays off your history. Already using auto-record? Rides are included from now on — nothing to change. Know it's working. A status row tells you when a permission is missing, what that means for detection, and takes you straight to the right place in Settings. No more silently doing nothing. Trips tag themselves. When a trip ends, Velocita reads its speed profile and saves it as Cycle or Car, so History filters stay right on their own. You can change any trip's category later, or switch the tagging off. Also fixed: speed-limit downloads that fail now tell you why and offer Retry, and very long trips now close cleanly at the 12-hour mark.
