Sanctum: Private Journal
Secret Diary & Mood Tracker
Free · In‑App Purchases
Sanctum is a beautifully simple journal for people who care about their thoughts staying their own. Write daily, watch your moods unfold into patterns, revisit memories from this day in years past. All behind
a Face ID lock, all encrypted on your device. Never in the cloud. Never sold. Never seen.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Every word is encrypted on this device with end-to-end encryption built around your personal key. There is no server. We collect nothing. We see nothing. Even if your phone is lost, your 24-word Recovery Code
is the only thing that can unlock your journal, and it lives only with you.
WRITE WITHOUT WORRY
A calm, distraction-free editor with mood tags, themed prompts, and the freedom to capture whatever's on your mind. Tag entries, attach photos, mark moods. The blank page never feels heavy here.
YOUR MOOD STORY (Pro)
Patterns you'd never see on your own. Mood breakdowns, monthly graphs, time-of-day rhythms, and AI-powered insights that quietly connect the dots over weeks and months.
ON THIS DAY (Pro)
Revisit what you wrote one year, two years, ten years ago. An intimate window into your own growth.
ON-DEVICE AI (Pro)
Personalized prompts and reflective insights, powered by Apple Intelligence on supported devices (iPhone 15 Pro and newer). Your entries never leave your device, not even for AI. Older devices can borrow AI
from a paired Mac on the same network, peer to peer.
ONE PURCHASE. WHOLE FAMILY. FOREVER.
Sanctum Pro is a single $9.99 unlock. No subscriptions. No upgrade tiers. No "Pro Plus." Pay once, share with up to five family members through Apple's Family Sharing. Yours, theirs, forever.
PEER TO PEER SYNC (Pro)
Pair iPhone, iPad, and Mac directly. Your journal travels between your devices over the local network. Never through a server, never through us. If you don't want.
EXPORT, ANYTIME
Export everything to PDF, Markdown, or JSON in a tap. Import from Day One. Your data, your terms. No lock-in.
WIDGETS YOU'LL ACTUALLY USE
All sizes for Home Screen and Lock Screen. Quick mood capture, today's prompt, recent entry, on-this-day memory.
TRY EVERYTHING FIRST
14 writing days of full Pro access. No signup. No credit card. No nag screens.
DESIGNED FOR REFLECTION
