It is not a social check-in app or a bloated coffee encyclopedia. It focuses on one job: keeping your brew records clear enough to guide the next adjustment.
What you can do with BrewTinker:
◆ Record each brew quickly Save bean, recipe, grind size, dose, water, temperature, time, verdict, flavor tags, sensory scores, and notes.
◆ Carry the next adjustment forward Write down what to change next. The next time you brew that bean, BrewTinker reminds you first and pre-fills the parameters from your recent best cups.
◆ Brew step by step Bloom, pours and target weights are prompted for each method, and pour targets recalculate as you change dose and water.
◆ Compare controlled changes Run an A/B test that changes one variable at a time, then review which adjustment actually helped.
◆ See where you are at a glance Home shows this week's brews, your hit rate, and a one-line brief of the last cup. Tap it to jump to that day's record.
◆ Export data for deeper analysis Export all records, the current filtered set, or a date range. CSV includes grind, ratio, TDS, extraction yield, sensory scores, experiment labels, and more for Numbers, Excel, R, or Python.
◆ Local-first No account needed. Your records stay on your device, with no analytics or advertising SDKs.

A quieter interface that keeps only what you need:
· Removed decorative colour, badges and duplicate entry points from Home, Log and record detail, so parameters and verdicts read more clearly.
· Page titles now match the tabs: Brew and Log.
· The A/B test button only appears while a test exists. Start a new one from the flask menu.
· Simpler options on the save sheet and Quick Brew setup. "Brew Again" in record detail is now a secondary button.
· Fixed singular and plural wording of cup and brew counts, such as "1 cup".
